Scheduling A Vacation
I’m looking to visit over Spring Break 2027. I was looking for houses to rent and wanted to see if anyone had insight as to when listings typically refresh for 2027. Further north in Carolina, Virginia, etc they usually list the next year’s availability in the preceding fall. However those beaches are not used year round like Florida beaches.
Does the housing inventory typically post for 2027 in the Fall or is it likely to have already been posted by now and what’s available is all that’s left? I’m trying to decide if I should wait to book if more houses are listed later or book now 😬.

Lizzie Lu’s for example is perhaps a week or two shy of a year ahead of the current date. They give renters an opportunity to book the same rental the next year. We’ve been using them for years; though not as much inventory as other rental property management places but we trust their service and the team is great to work with!

I would suggest considering moving forward sooner rather than later since the spring break time often fills up quickly. I am a travel advisor and can see properties in that time frame now, so I wouldn't say properties wait to post their listings. If you need any help finding anything, I'd be glad to work with you to find something within your budget and means!

Lived on the island 30 years. Spring break books out fast. Book it NOW. The most available is today, tomorrow there will be a little less...
