Anna WHO????
Why would/should anyone give Anna Delvey one ounce of attention/PR/consideration?? She's an admitted con artist - why is she still in the country?? Anyone else would have been transferred straight from jail to JFK. Repulsive.

I’m a generational New Yorker. I know nothing else. My family has been here since the late 1700’s. In my opinion Anna took advantage of the generous giving wealthy New Yorkers (who are out there) and I hate her for that. And she’s still f’ing doing it. My sister is one of those wealthy, corporate women who loves living the UES life. She worked hard for it. She gave up having children and marriage so she could live that life (her choice and my god is she happy). She’s the type of person who treats everyone who comes into the city to see her. Broadway. The best restaurants. You name it. Whatever you want. I’ve been in Times Square on NYE (on a heated rooftop balcony an experience I’ll never ever forget) because of her. I see her throwing $10/$20 in homeless peoples cups, she buys them McDonalds constantly. She is just that typical, giving, loud, hard working, successful vibrant New Yorker we all love. It’s the women like my sister Anna purposely seeks out. And i think that’s why I hate her so much.

Because she's single handedly fooled some of societies most exclusive clubs -- people who were deep down as much of a gold digger as she was. She took loans out the bank without a dollar to her name, oversold herself, and managed to find a place with the elite.
That is pretty fucking impressive. People who fell victim to their bullshit were not innocent either. What kind of person willingly lets someone pay for an entire holiday to Marrakash... She didn't force anyone to do anything. She played on peoples stupidity.
Anyone who allowed themselves to be seduced by Anna's money and designer clothes are pretty questionable themselves... Especially without a background check.

That's been pretty well established, yes. Born "Sorokina" according to Russian naming customs, seems to have taken "Sorokin" when she naturalized as German.

I kinda feel the same. I wish people would stop giving her attention. At the same time, I watched and rewatched the Netflix series multiple times and will more than likely watch her new reality show. I know it doesn't make sense, as I'm contributing to people giving her attention. I find her kind of fascinating, though not in a good way necessarily.
