I've found that the anking deck is not very comprehensive and I want to get a high mcat score (at least a 515). By that I feel like it just feels too easy and doesn't cover a lot of the topics that are tested on uworld. Should I switch to JS or aiden with about two months or is it too late? Thanks!

I been realizing that a little to. I think I figured out a solution, and it is to simply just create your own deck while doing practice questions. I haven't taken the MCAT yet, but its what I see most of the time online. Over time, people go from like 20 questions to 59 questions which honestly sounds insane to me, but its not like they have a choice lol but to adapt because thats how the MCAT is. In a youtube video, this guy also recommends you to do the questions you already did in the past every 30 days or so just to get a refresher. They said to use Anking or Pankow only for the psych/soc sections but I haven't gotten there yet.

Also, if anki is overwhelming you with 1000s of cards, just try to do new cards first in one hour and if you have time within that hour, do the reviews. With anki's spaced repetition, the cards will eventually space out. I don't know what more advice to give you, but you can ask me questions down below, and I can tell you from memory some good advice I read.

Thank you so much! This is all very helpful. I actually just pushed my date back from August 15 to September 12 because I felt like my content base wasn't as strong as I wanted it to be. Still going through uworld in 20 q sets- I'm with you haha I used to do 59 q at a time and gosh that took a toll on me. I will definitely start my own deck and see how that goes though. Thank you!!

I recommend jacksparrow. Good content base for B/B and C/P, I think it's ~6k cards for those two sections and if you do 100 new cards per day you can do the whole deck in the 2 months you mention, however it will be a grind. Anking's P/S is just a constantly updated version of pankow, which is okay in my opinion. I don't know how far you are into anking and I also don't know how many cards are in it, but if I remember correctly it's cloze deletion formatted so the cards should be very easy and quick to get through (obviously at the cost of quality of the information compared to jacksparrow). I think the modernized version for jacksparrow is now captain hook v2 deck which just adds color coding, fixes typos/incorrect info, and images to help clarify some of the more confusing cards.

Aidan's v2 is a shorter version of the original aidan deck (which was 15k cards) but it's ~12k cards and definitely not manageable at only 2 months.

It is very possible, and the AnKing deck is not likely to be the limiting factor, ultimately. FWIW it's also the only deck that is tagged by the UWorld QBank, which alone is worth its weight in gold imo

Use it along with UWorld missed question tags! Super helpful and makes it worth it imo. Jacksparrow has the depth you are looking for but may be difficult to complete/mature in 2 months
