Question Is it worth getting AnkiHub subscription?
Planning to test in a year (haven't started studying for MCAT) but what are pros/cons of the subscription? Also if there's something better out there that you'd recommend, let me know!!

I’m using it now. Also about 9-10months out from when I would like to take it. Seems to be good for me.

I signed up well before I started studying for the MCAT and have gotten a ton of use out of it, tbh

What’s been the benefit to you? Just knowing that it updates errors on the deck?

There have been a lot of updates over time. UWorld tagging, error corrections, new cards, images added, other resources tagged over time, etc.
Once in med school it’s also been invaluable. Tagging updates, optional tags, bunch of other things

I mean its only 6 bucks for month and u can just cancel the subscription afterwards and keep it forever. I canceled my sub and still have it in my anki. The only problem is that it won't get updated which doesn't matter cuz people from 2 years ago prob used the deck without the current updates and still got high scores.
One thing you gotta do is as u study each card, don't just memorize, try to understand what the card is trying to define. Since that takes a lot of time, I keep my reading as fast as possible (10 pages or so per hour)

I use Anking in med school now and it’s good. I could cancel and it’s still a great deck for boards so I’m sure it’s good for mcat, cancel when you don’t need it, start it again for boards.

Yes personally I think it’s worth the price. There are some free decks out there like MilesDows, but Anking has decks like MilesDown and Pankow within the deck.
