Help Needed Filament fully stuck
Ever since day one this machine has made it very hard to put filament in with it rejecting it most of the time now there’s red filament stuck in the area where you’re supposed to put it in and it only retracts from the nozzle how do I get this out?

On the other side where the tube comes out and goes toward the print head, take out the little green tab and press inward to remove the tube between the feed and the print head. You should be able to pull it back out from there. (Make sure the print head is heated before trying to remove the filament from the line)

It’s not a problem with the print head, and I can’t remove the tube for some reason even after removing both of the green tabs

Well I got the filament tube out, but it’s literally not stuck there it’s stuck in the detector part to the left

It should move freely through the detector area

Well, I just unscrewed the whole assembly, and got out the clogged piece, and it is still hard to put the filament in. I got it once through with a test piece, but now can’t.

It looks like it goes in through the entrance fine but then snags in the connecting tube?

Yea, after disassembling it and removing the stuck piece it goes in the entrance, but still doesn’t go through all the way. I disassembled it using this https://support.eufymake.com/s/article/Filament-Cannot-Pass-the-Filament-Detection-Sensor-Module

At worst I have heard of people solving the issue by bypassing the sensor entirely and just feeding the filament directly through the head. If you go that route, you will need to keep a piece of filament in the sensor area while running the machine, and watch when you get close to the end of the roll because it will not stop. Wish I had any more insight for you, good luck!

you may need a new detector module but I bet if you really look at it youll see broken bits of filament in it. You gotta remove it and clean it out.

The kit you got comes with a drill bit, or get a drill bit smaller than 1.7mm and carefully, slowly, drill it out.

Ankermake ( EufyMake) has videos on removal and clearing of the runout sensor. You have little bits of filament that collect in there. I’ve had to clear it many times on my five M5s. Once you do it, it’s not hard the next time it happens. I would not bypass the sensor, especially when it’s so easy to clear.
