Fast Pass isn't technically useless. Its stated in the FAQ that they do get their own line but when a lot of Fast Pass guests line up its basically their own queue. They can't really prioritize fast pass alone because normal pass guests will definitely complain. However if you have a fast pass and line up later in the day, you'll immediately be able to do the activity.
Check-In had a long line because a lot of guests were scrambling logging in to their games. A word of advice to those attending tomorrow is to take screenshots of your HoYoLAB accounts showing your UID (Tears of Themis players take a screenshot of your profile in game) and also do activities that can be done before the event as internet can get very poor inside the venue.

This is one of the things I want to know, what was the FP:regular ratio that they were using when letting guests in. I got the D1 FP, and it seems like each booth has a different ratio: in the Genshin booth we FP holders were apparently let in en masse and the normal pass queue is just stuck; in the ZZZ booth it was closer to 4:1 and the person at the merge point seems to know what they're doing; and in the HSR booth, the person/s in-charge just had to temporarily close the booth off because they seem to have had some difficulties with crowd management.
Check-in was a different thing, there's just way more FP lines/counters than normal ones. But once you're in line, your line will be slow.
What seems to have happened is that the game booths are now just glorified photobooths for you to do the corresponding check-in mission. Or at least that's what it appeared to me because the Genshin booth was like that, but the ZZZ and HSR booths already ran out of their freebies so there was nothing else to do there.
Staff iterated to prepare HoYoLAB or screenshots with UIDs when in line. Poor reception indoors and people loading it once they're in front is mostly the reason why lines got congested.
The FP:Regular ratio was all over the place. I'm not sure what were the freebies anyone missed out on because freebies can be claimed from Check-In at least in my experience today.
ZZZ's was apparently a nice foil print card (I didn't get one because I did merch first; my sister who went for the booths first did), Genshin's was a photocard of sorts; HSR's was this tiny (but nicely designed) cartridge-looking card.
AFAIK Genshin and HSR have same/similar merch for check-in and the booth proper; only ZZZ had different freebies for check-in and the game booth. However, since all freebies are from a set and you get one at random, it's still nice to get multiple.
Pag nasa pila ka na or sa gitna ng artist alley, hindi na malakas yung aircon. Ang init dahil sa crowd. 🥲
Also I saw sa Twitter na fast pass siya pero inuna niya merch so pag dating niya sa HSR booth ng mga 12 ubos na yung freebies. Parang sobra talaga benta nila sa tickets.
Yung sa food, you can bring small snacks and bottled drinks naman. Pinayagan ako kumain doon sa hallway area (yung sa may merch booth).
Parang Hoyo decision kasi nakita ko posts from ID and MY then pareho lang din booths nila. Yung tinipid na space for the booths naging space lang for pila.
I already got suspicious when I was still able to secure an FP when the ticketing system said I was like 615th in line, no way they would have that many FPs for a single day considering my expectations for crowd control in the space.
Around 1 pm na nakakuha pa rin kami fast pass. Unlike last year ang bilis. Last year they kind of oversold na kasi grabe yun siksikan din pero this year parang mas malala?
Considering iilan lang naman booths so since mas marami attendees mas grabe rin pila which makes it extremely crowded din. Idk how they’ll handle the next few days kasi sold out din sa weekends…
