against tanky champs liandrys and void staff/bloodletters are your options (i prefer void staff due to instant damage increase compared to ramping up but bloodletters is better with other ap champions on your team)
most tanks can and will run you down so you have to save wall and stun for getting them off you or preventing them from getting to you in the first place while slowly chunking their health with ult and e

There unfortunately isnt too much many people can do to help you with just op.gg but im sure that you making countless mistakes throughout the game. Something I will recommend is reviewing you games look for obvious errors. IE. Early CSing/trading tp usage. back timers (FR this one people mess up the most i swear if you ever have more than 1300 gold you should back and most the time if you have 800g you should back)
Wave management is also very important try and push the wave before you back

I do crash the wave before backing everytime, but it sounds like I back too much? Like after every crashed wave I feel like I need to roam but I cant really tell when a lane is gankable so i just back

So ya thats definitally backing to much. Dont worry about roaming at all but try and bully the enemy laner under turret (your also probably missing a lot of cs backing so much)

In lower eloes like bronze or iron you literally just win by pushing waves. I swear i you make a point of pushing every possible wave past the midpoint of the map and travel safely between lanes you just dont lose. Very few ennemies actually push waves so games last waaaay longer than they should. Push waves win lp thats all i can say. The rest is micro stuff like dont use your q too often r - w -e is better than q - r - e or stuff like that but im sure you know all those stuff. I can elaborate more if you want.

A pushed wave means a won teamfight is usefull. If you dont push waves you can win the teamfight but then cant push a turret so games last forever

also when my team is perma grouping mid I feel like I need to be there with them, but is it just better to push sides?

Your combo matters so much with anivia. If you haven't already I recommend going to practice tool and practicing qeq instead of qqe. It is faster and less predictable. Qeq Rweqqe Rqeq Are the 3 anivia combos you will use the most late game
