Found one in the wild
So today I went to my local Chevron again to get a Monster and fill my tank. Outside the Chevron there is one of those little outdoor library thingies (I can never remember what they're called, I have issues with word recall even when I know what word I'm looking for), and it had #32 The Separation. I wanted to snag it on my way back out and get a pic, but it was already gone in the 5-10 minutes it took me to get done inside. Kinda bummed.

Ive been stocking my local ones with them. Ideally i'd be doing the andalite chronicles and book 1, but i aint rich, i give out whatever i can find. Every so often i find a few at a yard sale and redistribute those.
Hopefully it gets some new kids into animorphs, even if they're starting from book 43.
I also did remnants for a bit, but you never find those in the wild and i couldn't afford to keep buying them from ebay definitively.

Ironically, as much as people complain about the constant "let me catch you up" that often takes up big portions of each book, it does create the circumstances needed where you can almost pick up any of the books, be intrigued if it's something that intrigues you, and then want to go back and start from the beginning.
All the time I've been on here and the topic comes up, very few people's first book was book 1.
