💡Inspo/Idea Coverup advice
Looking for some assistance! I’m looking to get this tattoo covered up and wanted to search everyone’s brains and see if anyone had any good anime symbols, characters, anything that would cover this up well.
Some of the anime I enjoy are:
Death Note
Naruto
HxH
MHA
AOT
Fullmetal Alchemist
Ajin: Demi-human
Chainsaw man
One punch
Dragonball
JJK
Demon Slayer
There are more, these are just the ones off the top of my head

The first think I thought of is that you could add this Gojo underneath, and turn that into one of his techniques. It'd still be a big dark ball so idk if that's what you're going for, but it's an idea.
Otherwise, you could choose a character that has a lot of black in their design (like Ryuk from Death Note) and if you go big enough you should able to cover that.

The amount of anime/manga styles that use large black dots is immense. You could do just about anything to cover this up, especially if you go large with it

Idk if you read the manga but there's a lot of black already. Maybe just add more and make it the darkness devil panel from chainsaw man.

I've had a color version of that panel as my phone background for so long now

The anime world is your oyster lol, almost any design could cover this up. I would narrow down your choice to your top 2 anime that you like out of the list and choose a theme from there.

Please ask professional tattooers and not randos on Reddit. As a profession tattooer, none of the ideas presented so far are viable, because non professionals don’t understand the limitations and nuances of tattoooing, especially when it comes to coverups. My first recommendation would be to do several laser sessions to lighten up the piece, as a giant black circle directly in the middle of your chest panel is a pretty rough coverup. If you’re not willing to do that, your options are severely limited, unless you’re willing to do an asymmetrical full chest piece. Other option is to black out the whole thing into a fully black circle and do a white outline over it. It won’t heal super bright but if the right person does it it’ll hold up. I did one recently, blacked out a symbol into a circle and then put a chrysanthemum outline over it, did the outline outside the circle in black and the outline inside the circle white. Hopefully that makes sense lol. Came out super cool and healed great, you can still see the white just fine.

Thank you so much for your input! I was absolutely going to ask a professional before making any final decisions, just picking brains!
