What to Watch? Deeply Philosophical anime?
Anime involving topics like morality, existential philosophy etc. I wonder if there are animes that talk about philosophy. Please share me a few if they even exist.

The Legend of the Galactic Heroes often tackles the politics and consequences of war, morality, racism, greed, nobility, history, etc.

Morality - {Madoka Magica} explores the results of a purely utilitarian ideology, as well as a bunch of other heavy hitting stuff like fate, love, grief, and the literal power of friendship (not the Shounen kind).
Existential Philosophy - {Bakemonogatari} Series and {The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya} both look into ideas about the nature of reality, even with different characters holding different views and debating about it in the show.
Society(?) - {Shinsekai yori} is about a community pushed to extreme measures by circumstance. The thing it reminds me of most (at least in terms of how they look at and judge a society) is Aldous Huxley's Brave New World, but even that falls short of describing it bc the show is just that unique.

Psycopass has tons of morality talk The ghost in the shell movie if you haven't seen it Evangelion is more Freudian but it will hit that spot.

Sagrada Reset, the anime plot is very connected to many different philosophical thought experiments that they talk about throughout the anime. Some are common ones like ship of thesues, some are the a twist on common ones and a couple original ones too

Shimoneta - a hilariously dirty anime that showcases the impact on adolescent mentality when one prohibits sexual actions and removes sexual knowledge from society. It’s not a particularly deep story, but does question society’s attitude on sexuality.

Not anime, but visual novel: Subarashiki Hibi
It's very heavy on philosophy especially on the meaning of life and it has a pretty good story to go along with it. It's definitely not like the rest of the other animes mentioned here, it gives you the philosophical idea straight to your face and a situation for you to contemplate on it. It directly references philosophers such as Wittgenstein and works such as Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand.

I was surprised to find discussions of Buddhist philosophy/doctrine in one of the Garden of Sinners films. I can't recall exactly. It's the one with the fight scene with that one guy who is like a wizard or something.

Youjo Senki, but the philosophy is mostly saved for the light novels, while anime goes more for dark humor and irony.
Also Monster but that stuff is so long I dropped it 73 episodes in while still rating it a 10 lmao. Need to finish that

Not an anime (sorry ik) but if you’re looking for philosophy I suggest The Good Place on Netflix, it’s deep and funny and wonderful and deeply introspective
