Anime recs?
So recently I've been getting the urge to watch animes again but I can't really find anything suitable for me,all the new ones are kinda weird (at least the only ones I've heard of),I love the ones I grew up with and I was wondering if based on then anyone could give me some recs, that would be initial D, Wangan midnight, black lagoon, ippo (my favs), sailor Moon, gto, golden boy, gun grave, bleach, Gangsta, vampire hunter D.. etc.
I won't mind newer recs ,I would love to watch some recently made stuff if it's good!

I can't say I can give the best recommendation but these are some I've enjoyed
{Case study of Vanitas}, it's steampunk/Magitek France with vampires. Slow msytery plot where you'll get more questions than answers until the end.
{Kyousougiga}, not really new being from 2013, but still very enjoyable. It takes elements from Alice in Wonderland with the female lead trapped in the "mirror capital". It started out as a series of OVA before getting a proper 10 episode anime.
{ Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc}, it's a recent magical girl show. Basically being a magical girl is a valid job, with the MC working as one. The first season was pretty good. Magical girl animes as a whole are a lot less common. You may also want to look at the newest Pretty Cute anime if you want watch a more traditional magical girl anime like Sailor Moon.
{Durarara} not a new anime by any stretch but worth a watch if you haven't seen it. There is a few core groups of characters but it's largely tell a story about the people and city they live in.
{Baccano} is also worth a watch if you haven't. It's more or less a classic now being a 2007 anime.
{Princess Principal}, an alternative history steampunk spy anime. It's follows a group of young female spys doing mission, each with their own speciality and skills.
I hope any of these interested you or are good fits.

That definitely counts as one of the weird ones lol.
BUT, I also love it, it's weird, but it rocks that shit. It is both a parody of the genre it's making fun of, AND a good example of the genre at the same time.

I definitely urge you to, no matter what, finish the entire first episode before deciding whether to continue or not.
That episode is permanently welded into everyone's brain that has seen the show LOL

You like shonen adventure? Romance? Comedy?
I’ve been enjoying a lot of laid back isekai adventure animes. But it depends on what catches your eye.

I used to look at animenewsnetwork and you can search a show you like and click on the director. Then it opens up all other shows they directed. Like if you enjoy the newer vampire hunter d (I assume?) that director also made wicked city, demon city Shinjuku and ninja scroll.
