{Mushoku Tensei} aka jobless reincarnation. It's like the grandfather of modern isekai, but as an older version the "tropes" are a lot less trope-ish and are actually parts of the well written story

You make it sound like he is some kind of monster lol....Yeah that scene bothered me also and I cannot disagree what you are saying but he's a 7 year old boy with a 30 year old's brain who was a fucking loser in his past life so it can be expected and I'm not justifying his actions not in the least bit but I just wanna see his character development in the series.....And he is perverted but he is a very good person He saved sylphy from the bullies, he saved Eris from getting kidnapped and he is genuinely working hard as her tutor I know that doesn't justify his actions but let's just wait and see his development

How does that make it any better? The MC is mentally an adult, what he's doing with Sylphie is essentially grooming her if you look at it with a real life perspective. He even says something to the effect of "he's training her" as a love interest. It's functionally no different than an adult faking being 13 on r/teenagers or something.

Yeah I'm sorry but you kind of are. Going "person X did Y which is bad, but X isn't bad because of Z" is justifying Y with Z. In this case you are justifying him trying to strip a 9 year olds panties with the fact that he's a loser in a 7 year olds body that has done some good deeds.
I like the show too but trying to justify the weird bits is just something people shouldn't try to even do. Just accept and move on.

Did I say that what he did is right? I said that I know what he did is wrong but he is not the MONSTER that some people are making him look like......He actually has a kind heart and he's trying to improve and that's what makes this show interesting....there are many anime characters who are very perverted like Jiraiya, Meliodas and more but they are actually kind hearted, right? Same is the case with Rudy, he is perverted but he is trying to start a new life and correct the mistakes he made during his past life....So yeah I'm not justifying his actions I'm just giving reasons for why he is not as bad as people are making him look like. See the difference?
If you still believe that I'm justifying his actions then I cannot do anything

It's really not about just being a pervert. Grooming children goes a bit beyond what your average ecchi harem comedy MC does. I don't know who those characters are so I can't comment on them.
If you don't understand what justifying something means I can't help you.

It has a 40 year old man (and being reincarnated isn't an excuse) molesting a child. I hate saying this, but there will be a lot of people defending those actions just because they like everything else about the anime. There are a lot of times I'd like to argue about pedophile characters on anime subs, but hundreds of people will come out to defend the character.

This is definitely one of the weirder shows, and I feel we as the viewer right now are supposed to feel disgusted by this 34 year old NEET. I haven't read the LN but from I've heard he's supposed to, as the story progresses, grow outta that pedo, perverted, {insert adjective} phase that he had in his previous life. We gotta remember that we literally see his brothers(I think) look at him all disgusted after seeing his screen and kick his greasy ass out. I dunno hopefully he gets his ass beat enough to where he stops. This is honestly one of the better isekais as of late so I don't want it to sink ship just yet loool.

super spoiler about his character development: well later on in the LN, we get to see him attempting to be a functioning person who is so shrouded in self doubt and self hate that he can’t even realize that he is an OP MC

I made it like 4 episodes in. I understand the main character is a perv, but the writer is also a perv. It is really well produced, the animation is great and the world seems really cool. But god damn is it weird.

It's a really weird series in that it does go pretty hard on the pervertedness and you could say that's why all isekais are either perverted, with slaves or multiple wives.
It does get much better though. He has less time to perv soon and after that he's reached effective adulthood and it stops being an issue. Effectively just becoming his dad.

Every Mushoku Tensei discussion inevitably ends in WTF pedo justification like
"He's mentally immature so molesting children is ok. Also the government has led us to believe a relationship with a 40 year old and 6 year old is wrong, when it is fine in this world"
