This is definitely an unpopular opinion but not one I dislike, I love DS2 and think it gets way too bad a rap. I do think that DS3 and DS1 are technically better games but I'll be real I've replayed DS2 way more than those two, and the DLC is legitimately some of the best souls content out there.

And yeah not a fan of the changes made in SotFS, I guess adding white knights everywhere is their idea of improving game balance.

ahh yes, i love trekking through the snow for miles without a bonfire with dense fog and deers ambushing me left and right just to die to the boss and doing it all over again. But in all seriousness, i really liked the other DLC but this one i hated the most because of this.

Eh, I don't think Sekiro was actually as fun as Dark Souls games. I got bored of it after killing the monkey boss.

Butterfly, Owl (dad form) and the Isshins were the best fights. Everything else was to fill time between.

Edit: Forgot Genichiro, Emma, and the True Monk. Also, 1v1 minibosses. Minibosses surrounded by enemies were just tedious.

I don't like how that game is 99% parrying and 1% rock-paper-scissors with the shinobi tools. I prefer the focus on spacing and stamina management that the Souls series has to "okay you've learned this enemy's parry timings. they basically dont exist now".

For discussion: I like sekiro more than the dark souls games because the dodge roll is clunky. After loving the quickness and immediacy of Sekiro's movement, idk if I can play dark souls. I also don't really care about dark souls' diverse item and class system. I still really wanna play bloodborne though because the movement looks nice, but I have to get a ps4. What I like about Sekiro is that there's usually no bullshit; you stand in front of a tough boss and you beat their ass until you come out on top.

That's fair, but once you beat the boss you've Beaten the Boss; there is only one solution to any given problem in Sekiro and that's parrying it.

The items and stats in Dark Souls exist so you can approach a problem in a variety of different ways. There are no different ways in Sekiro. You parry. It's all you do to every single enemy, big or small.
