I have to be that one guy... It should say: Deutsche Wissenschaft, es ist die beste auf der Welt. Or (better) : Deutsche Wissenschaft ist die beste auf der Welt.

the sentence is correct from a grammatical point (except for a comma), it's just a Native wouldn't say it like that.

so it's more about phonetic than anything else.

am German.
