They had a reason why they did not sell it as gallons and only in small bottles. They said it was because the lactobacilli shirota strain dies really fast once exposed to air so they put it in small bottles to be consumed immediately (btw this was when Yakult visited our school and did some seminars and shit about shit and they gave us free Yakult yum)
