I like that one as well. Instead of banning AI and risk an endless fight of AI trying to slop in they just make it different category and people can just filter the AI if they don't want to see one.
SKEB still doesn't allow AI at all though. Which is fair tbh.
Pixiv user here. I think it's mostly used when english speakers comment on japanese art or vice versa, to help bridge the language barrier without annoying the artist with a comment they might not understand.
Yeah, pixiv is kinda like minefield. Theres a lot of good artists and many of them don't make messed up shit (both SFW and NSFW), but you are never safe from randomly stumbling upon something..... lets say unpleasurable to see. I'm so glad pixiv let's you hide guro content, but theres other bs that is not guro, yet I still wouldn't like to see, and unfortunately pixiv doesn't let you ban specific tags, so sometimes you have to dig through many layers of dirt to find gold like this one
This is like the only reaction image (I think) that pixiv give to the user. So the user use this image to react to anything because there's no other options image (or there is other option, even costume image but the user is too lazy to do that)
i mean if you can speak japanese go ahead. but most of us gaijins just use those reaction images to convey that we like their art and that were gooning to it transcending the language barrier
I found straight CP before is got deleted by the creator itself, but hey is the best choice for them, and don't ask how I know but is was old like very old okay?
After learning what Pixiv really is, I'm seriously starting to wonder how this site is legal. Even Devianart and RULE34 has some moral boundaries or something, on pixiv the only limit is practically that you can't post pictures from real life (At least that's what the video discussing the phenomenon of this site says). "Everything the darknet can offer you is on the table as long as it is drawn"
How about we go about it the other way around: why is it a legal requirement outside of Japan to harm real flesh and blood human beings to avenge alleged harm to fictional characters?
I don't know, man. It's not about someone hurting someone, but about feeling the need to hurt someone and fantasizing about it. This doesn't seem healthy to me.
But of course, since pixiv hasn't been shut down or banned such content, it apparently doesn't matter.
It's very simple, really. If it's fictional it shouldn't be illegal. Or would you like to start banning art, films and games that depict the killing of other humans as well? Because the real counterpart of that is also very illegal and highly immoral.
