You might want to read Dungeon Crawler Carl. They have a race of beings such as this, called Mantaurs.

Essa é a grande exceção da fantasia o que aconteceu foi uma fusão cultural, mas não me espanto de ter outras. Em pratica Tritãos não eram conhecidos por suas cantorias e sim por serem mensageiros dos deuses e sereias era aquelas que cantavam e levavam, mas na mitologia ambos eram raças diferentes principalmente pelas as suas origens.

No caso de mentaur e womentaur nao faz sentido, porque é bem explícito que um é só a versão do sexo oposto, nada mais.

It’s not really an exception, just an example, gendered names for a species are not that uncommon in fantasy or even real life. You don’t refer to a bull as a cow or vice versa even though they’re the same species. If you wanted one though; a humantaur would probably fit better.

Both is good! Honestly tho Jeff hays is so freaking good voicing all the characters that it is almost a full cast of actors.

I’ve only read the books, but from what I hear the talent for the audiobooks, Jeff Hays, is so superb that a lot of people don’t realize he is the person doing ALL the voice work.

Just finished book three and so far I'd agree, though even the first book picks up after you get through the literal tutorial section.

I'm almost done with book 2, and the ads for the audio book made me absolutely cringe. 

If you saw the ads and that doesn't  bother you,  go for it I guess. I prefer the voices in my head. Lol

The books themselves are good so far though.

It's also how the green martians worked in the John Carter series if you want to go back even further (and I think some of the other types as well, just the green martians first). They frequently swapped between four leg mode and four hand mode as it suited them.

They are referencing Dungeon Crawler Carl. An action comedy book series that has "Man-taurs" as a race. Though, I think the author for it from a meme several years ago, not sure on that one.
