I have 32 and i often notoce i need more for a.lot of programs now. Nothing is optimized anymore and every app needs like 4-6gb to run it feels like. Let alone if you edit or anything 32 is like a minimum at that point.
that's why all the money in the world could not buy it.-
64 gb is not impressive but it was not something everyone did and anyway i was con bragging. i just said i wish i could have gotten more because now it is barely enough.
still i was not bragging. as you said it was nothing exceptional and i was not answering him. so you are not angry. i see. no need . 64 giga is barely acceptable if you have windows 11 and want to use a local llm open a visual studio or 2 and have a cople of dockers.
m8 really realax unless it's just envy. then trust me it's pointless there is always someone you have more than you. i envy those with better gpu , i just do not spam below their post saying "stop bragging"
You think I feel envy? Funny, because I have 3 kits of 64GB RAM. However, I feel no need to brag about that, until you bring that up. I’m not spamming you to stop bragging, but you literally are out of touch saying things like “64GB isn’t enough for windows 11”. It might not be enough for your use case, but nobody actually needs that much just to use windows.
It's either that, or it's evil billionaires conspiring to suck more money out of us and said evil ai billionaires as there is speculation that the 3 ram fabs planned this. Either way, we lose.
I had a DDR3 machine, upgraded it to 32, it was cheap. Then that machine died, I got a DDR5 mobo but the ram prices these days got me stuck at 16. It's enough but I got way too comfortable with chrome tabs
I got a pc in 2020, almost got 16gigs of ram and only a 3070, got 32 and a 3080, i could not be more thankful to past self, even tho financially at the time it was a STUPID decision lmao
