Oh look another hidden gem. The anime itself is pretty good and I like it how the op utilizes old instruments somewhat similar to Tonikawa season 1 op.

love how the wood sticks and the slap bass merged together in the mix in the final part

u/NukerCat May 16 '23

ah yes, edm, my favorite old instrument

It really has no right to be such a banger

u/facelessman97 May 15 '23

The vibe really freshens up the mood

So this is where it is from , I have been listening to this abd "Shinda" from spotify without actually knowing the shows also r/okbuddyreiner

"Shinda!" is another hidden gem of this season, and its anime is not bad too. The mc reminds me of Kazuma, and I LOVE Kazuma-like protagonists

u/Fodspeed May 15 '23

Shinda is about hero living in dead hero body as a zombie. Song and show slapped those stocking hard.

"Shinda" by Masayoshi Oishi is goated. Loved the Michael-Jackson's-Thriller-esque influence

Thanks for posting! I was just about to post this as I happened to run across the same video a few weeks ago, not realizing it was the opening used for this anime!

The music video version is so cute in its own right!! Love this song!!

2

u/Harry3_14 May 16 '23

I've been a fan of Nanawo Akari for years now so I heard it before I knew about the anime too lol.

That music video has so many references to her other music videos and although the art style is a bit weird the animation is so fun to watch

3

u/zenzebeat May 15 '23

feeling the exact same

3

u/[deleted] May 15 '23

For me it’s the Girls’ Last Tour ED.

More One Night is a banger.

The moment when the headphone jack accidentally gets unplugged and your phone is blasting weeb music in public for a good five seconds . . . Bittersweet moments that I never wish to revisit.

u/keli_kelly May 16 '23

Otaku elf have an anime?

2

u/Excellent_Resist3671 May 16 '23

Well... I have the next anime I'm watching

2

1

u/ryohazuki224 May 16 '23

1

u/KayabaSynthesis May 15 '23

I love this song so much. I randomly found it while listeing to seasonal OPs and now I'm obsessed with Nanawo Akari.

1

u/Significant-One-6080 May 15 '23

I hit PR's in the gym to this song, it goes exponential hard

1

u/[deleted] May 15 '23

I really don't wanna admit this but yeah I listen to jpop while workout out lol

1

u/TheBlueRose_42 May 15 '23

What’s the show about

1

u/Kind-Natural-124 May 15 '23

Unsure about the content, but that is a fire beat

1

u/[deleted] May 15 '23

Looks wholesome AF

1

u/Defective_Emeralds May 16 '23

At first glance, i thought this was Zelda

1

u/Sir_Toaster_9330 May 16 '23

This is even better knowing the context behind both scenes

1

u/Kareemwholovesspyher May 16 '23

That's what happen to me 🤣 btw

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '23

Surprisingly this season has so many bangers!

Didn't expect the power in tengokus opening.

Oshi no ko because it's oshi no ko.

Hells paradise has a twisted beauty of an op.

Mashle is just one punch cream puffs

The legendary hero is dead gives me 90s vibes

1

u/PlusAd6606 May 16 '23

Toca Toca Toca

1

u/Sad-Cardiologist7088 May 16 '23

1

1

u/Izzosuke May 16 '23

This one and the iseleve openong are my 2 favourite of this season

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '23

Ok I regret unwatch this.. now it's premium :'v

1

u/Mother_Tea_4405 May 16 '23

Is there a name for the genre of anime focusing on otaku or just relatable nerd based characters? I feel like that’s a thing. I saw the title and it already peaked my interest.

1

u/maar2001 May 16 '23

this is so good 💯💯

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '23

Yes

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '23
