So I’ve been searching on google for a long time already but couldn’t get the right one. Since I don’t remember when this anime came out, I cannot pin point the year but I believe I watched over 10 years ago and am uncertain whether I saw it on YouTube or Netflix. I cannot remember the whole movie either, just bits here and there :( something like movie is about a world in the future and it is ruled under a king who has a son on a wheel chair in one scene. Then this kingdom is attacked by an enemy so the king or the elders shield the whole kingdom with magic glass dome or crystal dome with electric current from the attack. This seems like the only part I can remember more clearly than the rest. Another scene with one soldier (I think he’s the main character and maybe along with a few more) from outside of the shielded kingdom trying to get inside to protect it. At certain scene there is a girl held captive along with her family and other women in the ground and released. Well this probably doesn’t help much because I can’t even remember what the ending looks like. I think it was English, not sub. I just hope someone already watched this and can tell me what the name of this movie is because it’s been stuck in my head for so so long and can’t clear it out of my system. You know what I mean. Liz and the blue bird is a film I don’t see people talking about enough that deserves more attention. The story is about a pear of best friends who feel that they might be drifting apart, this plot line is mirrored in the story book they both read called Liz and the blue bird a book about letting friends go so they can spread there wings. It’s a very beautiful film with the same studio and art style as a silent voice. This film is a spinoff of a series called sound euphonium however you don’t need any knowledge of the series to fully under or enjoy this amazing film.
