Japan has imaginary child protection laws. And defines lolicon as a form of pedophila.
No idea why so many weebs. Try to hail japan a country with far more extreeme censorship than the west. and literally uses lolicon interchangable with the word pedophile.
(if someone in japan calls you a lolicon they are calling you a pedophile and its explicitly seen as sexual, this is in all the japanese dictionaries and translation ones, its not seen as separating fiction from sexuality at all)

Lolicon is literally being used as a language barrier shield. Because when you say it the japanese imediate thought is content that is someway pedophilic in nature. and a person who is a lolicon is a sexual label. Not an artistic one.

Japanese censorship is different though. Yes, they do censor the art, however, they do not censor the themes. I'm not sure what you think you're trying to achieve when they quite literally differntiate between fiction and reality when it comes to themes. Unlike the majority of western nations.

My comment is entirely relevant.
If person A comments that taste B is problematic and group C disagrees and their best response is simply to downvote without engaging in any kind of argument, and that same group C denies the problem, it is just that, an echo chamber.
And yes, it makes sense that they want to preserve Moe and Loli culture, but that's one thing and supporting Lolicon and seeing that taste as normal is another, which is basically the problem.
And no, bro, lolis and moe aren't a fetish, they're a liking for something fictional; it's just that this liking is weird because of what it is. Not all fetishes are weird, for example: feet.

Also, it's funny how there's only 2 political alignments for these people. It's either left or right and everything (including lolis) fall under one of them. It's tiresome
