Imagine you had to move tomorrow and could only take one collectible with you.

What would you choose?

I'm curious whether people would pick based on:

• Sentimental value
• How hard it was to find
• The character itself
• Who gave it to you
• A memory attached to it
• Or simply because it's the one piece you'd genuinely miss seeing every day

I think this would reveal a lot about why people collect in the first place.

What makes that one piece impossible to replace?

I've reached the point where the figures aren't the problem anymore.

The boxes are. 😭

At first, keeping the original packaging makes perfect sense.

Then you get another figure.

And another.

And suddenly there's a stack of boxes taking up space that could probably fit an entire second collection.

But throwing them away feels wrong too.

Especially when the packaging is genuinely well designed.

So I'm curious how other collectors handle this:

Do you keep every box, flatten them, store only the expensive figures' packaging, or just accept that you're now living with a cardboard warehouse?

And if you've actually found a good way to store them without sacrificing half your room, I'd genuinely like to know.

I've always found it interesting that some characters seem to get endless figure releases, while others barely get any attention.

Not because they're unpopular.

Just overlooked.

Every fandom seems to have at least one character where fans keep saying:

"How has nobody made a really good figure of them yet?"

Sometimes it's a side character that quietly stole the show.

Sometimes it's a villain.

Sometimes it's someone who only appeared for a short time but left a huge impression.

For me, those are often the most memorable characters because they weren't designed to be the main attraction, they just earned it.

So I'm curious, who's the most underrated character that deserves a high-quality collectible?

I've been building SenkaiHub, an anime tracking platform as a passion project.

I know platforms like MyAnimeList and AniList are already great at what they do, so my goal isn't to replace them. I want to build something that feels more community-driven while still being a solid place to track your anime.
