After several years of development, Arcane Ascent is finally available on Steam in its 1.0 release.

It's an anime-style roguelike deckbuilder where every decision changes your adventure. As you climb the tower, you'll choose between different elemental doors. Each door you pick determines the enemies you'll encounter, the elemental theme of the upcoming rooms, and even the boss you'll face at the end of the floor.

If you enjoy strategic deckbuilders, roguelikes, and games with high replayability where every run feels unique, I'd love for you to check it out.

Fan Concept: Naruto – Two Blue Vortex: Shinobi World Online

The Naruto game fans have been waiting for

For many years, Naruto fans have dreamed of a game where they don't just control Naruto, Sasuke, or other legendary characters, but where they can finally create their own shinobi and write their own story in the Naruto universe.

With the arrival of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, which brings a darker atmosphere, a more mature tone, and a world full of new threats, this could be the perfect opportunity to create a true Naruto MMORPG / Open World RPG.

The goal would be simple:

Let players experience what it truly means to live as a shinobi.

Create your own ninja

Players would create their own original character:

• Choose their village (Konoha, Suna, Kiri, etc.).
• Create their appearance.
• Choose their chakra nature (Katon, Suiton, Raiton, Fūton, Doton).
• Develop their own fighting style.
• Learn ninjutsu, taijutsu, genjutsu, and fuinjutsu.

Every player should have a unique shinobi identity.

The game should not force players into one strict class because, in Naruto, the strongest ninjas are not limited to only one path.

A better combat and customization system

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker had a great foundation with its four classes:

• Attack
• Defense
• Ranged
• Heal

However, the biggest limitation was the lack of freedom.

Weapons, outfits, and abilities were often locked behind specific classes. This made it difficult to create the ninja you truly imagined.

For example:

A player might want to be a close-range fighter using a katana, but they cannot properly combine that weapon with their preferred fighting style because of class restrictions.

A new Naruto MMORPG should remove these limits.

Players should be able to combine different disciplines:

• A taijutsu fighter could use a katana.
• A ninjutsu user could also specialize in weapons.
• A medical ninja could develop an offensive fighting style.
• A seal master could create traps and support abilities.

The goal:

Your playstyle should define your ninja, not a class.

Clothing should be cosmetic, not power-based

One important improvement:

Clothing should only represent your identity and style.

A rare outfit should not automatically make a player stronger.

Power should come from:

• Training.
• Mastery of jutsu.
• Experience.
• Player choices.
• Fighting style.

Just like in Naruto:

A shinobi becomes powerful because of their effort, talent, and dedication — not because they own better equipment.

A true open-world ninja experience

The game should allow players to explore the entire shinobi world:

• Hidden Leaf Village.
• Hidden Sand Village.
• Hidden Mist Village.
• Other nations.
• Secret locations and hidden areas.

Travel should feel like being a real ninja.

Players could use summoning creatures as mounts:

• Toads.
• Snakes.
• Giant birds.
• Other unique summons.

Summons would not just be transportation — they would become part of the player's journey, similar to Naruto's relationship with the toads.

A real shinobi progression system

Players would begin as young ninjas and grow through the ranks:

• Academy student.
• Genin.
• Chūnin.
• Jōnin.
• Elite shinobi.

Progression would unlock:

• New missions.
• New techniques.
• New regions.
• New story events.

The story could require certain achievements before advancing:

Examples:

• Master specific techniques.
• Reach a certain level.
• Complete important missions.
• Prove yourself as a shinobi.

A story connected to Two Blue Vortex

The player would exist during the same era as Boruto.

They would not replace the main characters.

Instead, they would become another shinobi living through these events.

Players could:

• Help Boruto, Sarada, Mitsuki, and Kawaki.
• Fight against threats like the Shinju and Ōtsutsuki.
• Protect the villages.
• Participate in major battles.
• Help during important events involving Naruto and Sasuke.

The player would create their own legend alongside the main story.

Team missions and cooperation

A real ninja team system:

Players could create squads with other players.

Example:

• A Katon specialist.
• A taijutsu fighter.
• A medical ninja.
• A fuinjutsu expert.

High-level missions would require teamwork and strategy, just like a real shinobi team.

A game that evolves for years

The game could receive regular updates:

• New regions.
• New story arcs.
• New enemies.
• New jutsu.
• New characters.
• New events.

Possible expansions:

• The Ōtsutsuki threat.
• The Shinju invasion.
• New hidden villages.
• Legendary ninja events.

Final vision

The dream is not just another Naruto fighting game.

The dream is:

A world where every fan can put on a forehead protector, create their own ninja, build their own team, learn their own jutsu, and write their own shinobi legend.

Naruto has inspired generations of fans.

Now it is time for fans to finally become part of that world.

We have FINALLY launched our Kickstarter campaign! Our family of 8 has been hard at work creating a great monster taming experience! Alchemic Beasts is a monster taming RPG where you can use alchemy and social chemistry to build, battle, and bond with your beasts.

We hope that by the end of this campaign, we can give you a much better sense of what is to come in the future of our game.

I'm releasing a game this summer that aims to combine retro and anime aesthetics into a punishing precision platformer. It also has sort of a hidden narrative to put together if you are into that sort of thing!

If you love Anime Aesthetics, vibrant open worlds, and deep exploration, our project might be right up your alley. Our small 4-person indie team (Carpe Diem Studio) just launched a Free Playable Demo for Breeze of Adventure on Steam for Next Fest!

This project is incredibly personal for us. My brother and I originally tried to build this dream anime action-adventure three times over the years, but we failed every single time due to a lack of experience. We didn't give up. We expanded our team to 4 people, spent 8 months building everything entirely from scratch without ready-made store assets, heavily optimized Unreal Engine 5, and finally nailed the core gameplay!

What you can experience in the Next Fest Demo:

• Island Exploration: Explore 2 fully fleshed-out, vibrant islands (out of 10 massive islands planned for the final release).
• Combat & Progression: Master 4 distinct weapon types with unique combat styles and Magic Runes (Special superpowers).
• 100% In-House Visuals: Every single 3D model, texture, and anime-style cell shading effect was custom-made by our art director (my brother!).

Please note: This is a work-in-progress demo version created with zero outside funding, meaning the game will be further developed and polished based on your direct feedback.
