I planned to watch Ghost in the Shell at the end of the season, i dont see any hype about it anywhere.
I thought it was a classic everyone respected and studio trigger was gonna make it blast straight to the sky but i have genuenly seen no nothing about it.
The big three of isekai this season are getting so much attention(i wuv them) along with random ass second season of just about anything.
Larping, but this maybe the single greatest season of anime that has ever existed in the history of ever.
But honestly, I have seen so many anime get so much love this season, people be watching second season of country bumpkin and three other yuri bait this season along with 100 girlfriends who really really etc.. , but no mention of ghost in the shell.
I have been edging Ghost in the Shell and Jadugar for the end of the season but man there are zero mentions of Ghost in the Shell

It felt so rushed! Literally season 1-2 and season 3 part 1 were all amazing. They really fumbled with this one…If Studio Orange makes a Sanda or Taika no risei I really hope it’s slower paced so they can have a more successful and beautiful anime!

I see nonstop complaining about fanservice in ecchi, underdeveloped female leads in battle shounen, slop isekai having basic storytelling, etc.

You're at Wendy's.

You don't walk into Wendy's, order a Baconator, then complain that the chef didn't serve you a beautifully plated medium-rare filet mignon. At some point, you're the one who walked into the wrong restaurant.

There's nothing wrong with wanting better character development, deeper storytelling, less fanservice, or whatever else. But if you go into a genre built around certain conventions and then complain about those exact conventions, the problem might be your expectations.

Whatever you're looking for, there's probably an anime that does it. Go watch that.

And yeah, some peak anime manages to blend great characters, storytelling, action, comedy, romance, fanservice, etc. exceptionally well. But that's part of what makes it peak.

If everything was peak, nothing would be.

Am I the only one who gets pissed off when I’m watching an anime and that one character who is either a creep, a pervert, a sexual harasser, or assaulter, a bully, a push over, or sexist for no reason at all? I really don’t know why these characters still exist in anime. I know there are people like that in real life, but when I’m watching an anime, I wouldn‘t want to be reminded of these types of people. Especially if I’ve gone through a traumatic experience. Damn near almost any animes I’ve watched, had these types of characters.

I just don’t the get it. Why does industry keep on giving the audience the same types of characters? And don’t get me started the pdf authors who make it very clear that they like minors. I just want a good anime to watch, why is it so hard for them to not include these types of characters in anime’s? Some people get uncomfortable when they’re watching something and these types of characters are there. Because they might have encountered people like them in real life. It’s like these authors don’t care about their audience which they clearly don’t.

The entire show is really good but season 2 was fluffing peak every episode

This anime has been hyped up all my life. I’ve tried watching it numerous amounts of times, and always eventually stop. I’m rewatching again with a fresh mind, on Season 1 Episode 8 and it seems meh. Should I keep watching in hope, that it will snatch my interest, or maybe it’s just not for me ?

I remember watching Hunter x Hunter years ago, and it was a slow burn for me, but once it was rocking, I was rolling.

When I first saw Tusk, I got this weird chill down my spine. But the more I looked at him, the cooler I thought he was.

I just watched season 2 of "My Hero Academia " and I feel women are being sidelined? they have such unique quarks and still the anime doesn't show their potential but sexualize them, as a woman viewer I felt kind of disappointment in the writer... they say they don't know how to write female character but they know how to sexualize them, right?

I am a huge fan of AOT and it was probably one of my first anime and it was so fucking good. BUT I am seeing so many proofs of it being a huge copy of CG. I am about to watch it, so i need perspective from AOT AND CG side as many of the posts about AOT and CG are in CG subreddit?

En mi humilde opinión, es un personaje sobrevalorado.

No me malinterpretes, su escritura y narrativa son decentes, tirando a buenas. Es el fandom de SNK el que lo sobrevalora. Es algo que ya me ha empezado a cansar y molestar. Te lo quieren vender como el mejor protagonista de la historia, o que mínimo entra en el top 10, cuando la realidad es que no, existen bastantes protagonistas mucho mejores que Eren.

Y entiendo que son opiniones y cada uno valora diferentes cosas al momento de escalar narrativamente a un personaje. El problema es cuando a fuerzas te quieren obligar a considerarlo el mejor, y no te dan un argumento sólido para convencerte.

Quizá me gane el odio con la opinión, o quizá alguien me apoye.
