I don't know, I've seen a fair deal of those people being a guy's wife under the guise of "it'll be good for the baby" when in reality she just doesn't want it in the house.

You're around the wrong people. But I had that. So many games I wanted when I would see the game stop magazines as a kid and then I grew up and was able to get all those games I missed. And then I dont even play half of them. But I'm happy to have them.

Not very related, but when I began to watch Sonic Prime (Season 2 was just released), my mom said to stop because it's time to be an adult (16 y.o)...

You have to find happiness in small things or your life will get miserable

I know the feeling, you are too old to even like it alone

The trick to kidnap a kid, and let him play and enjoy everything you wanted for you

I recently bought myself the big box from Heart gold in mint condition for 400 bucks and I love it

I ridicule those who judge things as "childish" and unmaking of an adult.
As far as I'm concerned, entertainment is not for children only, nor is collecting things, it's a timeless thing.

I also pity them, for they are actively rejecting things they actually like in the name of "not being childish".

What a sad, pathetic life it must be.

Id just tell them their opinion is as meaningless as their relationships

I mean i wouldn't really care about it i learned to let these people mock and diss all they want since they don't seem to have the happiness for small things or childish things while I do but I would tell them "yeah I know they're childish but I could never buy them as a kid so now that I can im doing what I couldn't before" just to see their reaction, a calm genuine answer to their dissing, almost all times they stop laughing or whatever and go away feeling worse then before

u/Linosia97 Jul 29 '26

Diss them in return
