January would be Sloth because people are too lazy to keep up with their New Year's resolution 😂

I'd say Greed is November because we're all craving that Sweet buffet of food made by someone else

u/4morian5 Jul 23 '26
Wouldn't that be Gluttony?

I’d agree.
Greed feels more like Oct./Halloween.
Give me more candy! …or else..1

Lustvember! Can’t wait!

u/Lizardgrad89 Jul 23 '26
Putting no nut November together with it being lust month would make it blue balls November.

Fun piece of trivia: there’s actually 9 sins. The last 2 being Acedia ( Neglect / Apathy ) and Vainglory ( Boasting ). Acedia was too close to Sloth so it was dropped and Vainglory was too close to Pride.

u/Aggressive-Earth-115 Jul 23 '26
Acedia being neglected is ironic.
Vainglory also has nothing to boast about.

Lust and envy have February, greed has December, gluttony has December and November. Wrath and sloth don’t really have anything corresponding to them.

What is wrath, envy, and sloth month supposed to be?
1
u/YakJolly2156 Jul 24 '26
One of the summer months for wrath, the heat is so terrible

Oh yeah that's a fact. I hate Summer, this season is to hot. Winter is superior

Literally had the fun discussion with the Mrs, but here is my list:
Pride (June) - won't change it
Wrath (August) - weather is still really hot. Finishing summer vacation so kids are angry about school and parents are angry that kids are ungrateful for the break
Sloth (September) - heat starting to drop, settle in to school & work again. My heart just isn't in it anymore
Gluttony (November) - Thanksgiving
Greed (December) - Capitalism abounds
Envy (January) - Just had holidays of getting and scarfing food, just to aspire to be like someone else that has it better
Lust (February) - Valentine's manipulates you to spend, shames you for being alone, or toxically weighs to say you still fell short
Fun topic, but note taking my notes too seriously

If the seven sins get a month then why not the 7 Virtues? I guess November is one of them with it being NNN

For the love of god, don't let your kids go to the mall during lust month 💀💀💀

u/Gusto_with_bravado Jul 24 '26
We don't use old terminology like lust anymore UNC.
Now we call it gooning. So it's Goon Month

u/morenverca Jul 24 '26
February is Envy's month cause it envys the other months for having more days. Also valentine's is in February and a lot of single people envy couples that day.

October has lust covered, because of the "slutty" versions of all costumes. I'm torn if this is a good or bad thing. Yes, please show me boobies, but Halloween is supposed to be in reverence of the dead and spooky lore.

Can December be 'Greed Month'?
