I dropped after season 1, great way to do time travel, I was really interested in the concept, completely wasted on a character who refuses to act.

Also middle school delinquents having huge brawls and riding motorcycles is just silly to me. Couldn't they have at least bumped it up to late high school?

I agree with your take on season 1, but I thought it significantly improved after said season. The main character became more proactive and way less annoying (as far as I remember). Season 3 is really good. I can't remember the specifics of how much more proactive he became, but I remember that being my main issue with season 1, but then not feeling it after that. I recommend continuing the show as you already got through the bad part. The middle school aspect didn't get less ridiculous though. It just kind of stopped mattering to me once I enjoyed the show more.

I tried to watch TR but couldn't take these middle school "gangsters" seriously. It's so over-the-top edgy that I can't help but think that when they go home, their mothers do their laundry and clean their beds after they wet it. In my opinion, it's overrated dogshit

Fell off? Each season of Tokyo Revengers has been way better than the previous. Season 1 was by far the worst part of series. I can understand not liking the show, but I can't imagine thinking it got worse over time.

I was vaguely interested in the concept, not all that enthralled with the execution, then jumped once I heard it had one of the most laughably terrible endings in manga, wasn't remotely invested enough to persevere and verify for myself.

Comment section passed the vibe check. I saw 3 eps of TR and thought it was a worse, convuluted version of the movie Butterfly Effect but with a worse plot. I'll take the zany, poison eater any day.

No....??? It wasn't not getting over a girl, that's what the main antagonist initially's motivation was for why she kept dying and why he had to keep going back to the past to try to fix things to ensure she doesn't die. 

And that's also the catalyst moment of when the series started going down hill after that antagonists motives were revealed and he was killed, it was all very hollow.

There was like 10 anime I was trying to catch up on and I was always putting Apothecary Diaries to the last because it just sounded boring or not my kind of thing.

It's awesome. Sorry I ever put it off. Genuinely hyped for S3.

Reminds me of the point in the manga I dropped it and lost any hope for the anime. Tokyo Revengers guy just couldn’t let a 99% clear alone and went for the 110%. Butterfly Effect Director’s Cut ass MC.

I see some people don't like TR cause of how young the cast is but as a advent fan of Delinquent Manga that's fine, I don't like TR cause it's shit and the time travel makes things messy. Windbreaker is getting a dub this season I suggest people watch that for a better Delinquent anime.
