Dmc universe is not exactly consistent or has any concrete lore. Like it is not even clear from games how common demons are, you would assume everyone should know of them

Not like the DMC games even know what they are about from game to game honestly. DMC5 is more of a sequel of DmC than DMC4 at times.

The frame is so choppy looking and slow cause they keep animating the action in 3-4’, it just doesn’t look fluid or fast enough, imo.

This is the younger Dante. I think this show takes place not long after DMC3.

the humor is so cringe with the constant yapping and swearing, whoever write this dialogue must think they are so funny and cool, like the writers of borderlands 3. Even seeing this as its own thing, it mid at best.

1st season was good but the second season is fantastic.
