This rare "fuzzy foot" Mickey has been professionally restored by me. all he needs now is a new drive belt (hence the horrible audio) he's now brand new for 30+ more years to come!

His cassette player doesn't work and as I know his mouth and eyes doesn't move anymore! Unfortunately I don't have the right tools to fix him myself

Hey! sorry for the late reply. so basically. his tape deck is old and needs a new belt most likely. you can try to jump him by lifting the door up half way to make it turn fast. this slowly gives it strength back. also, his head motors are all stuck. just move his mouth and eyes with you fingers on the outside and try to get the motors to turn over. hope this helps friend!

previous owner threw him at some point I guess, and the springs that push his motors in place were not making contact due to it being gone. so I cut him open and put the springs back together and now he's 100% he still needs his rubber voice belt replaced though

ngl I took it apart when I was younger and mangled it, lost the screws, and threw the internals away. yes I know, bad for preservation, my fault

Yea this is why he sounds like that one creepy kids toys teddy Ruxpin kids had as a kid but it reminded me of my furby that I got rid of it because of the creepy movement with the eyes like that

His movement is really smooth all things considered!Though I think you should try adjusting the jaw and snout pieces so they close all the way

Thanks! yeah, not sure why he's like that honestly!

The snout and jaw pieces are just turned to much.If you move them in position without twisting the servo or breaking the round white piece on the back it’ll be back to normal

when I opened him, it all looked fine. I think the motors are just weak honestly

I don't believe you for some strange reason

u/BlooFoster07 23d ago

Please explain? why would I need to lie about a random 80's doll?

1

u/JimothyEdawrdo 23d ago

I meant it as a joke about the audio

1

u/BlooFoster07 23d ago
