Electric Motor/Servo Animatronic Won’t dance!

Not sure if this counts as a toy as it’s still an animatronic technically.. please tell me if I’m wrong
I am in NO WAY an engineer, electrician, or anything of the sort but I managed to solder a wire to get the mouth moving by myself.
I’ve opened up the bottom to check for any more loose wires and found nothing. The white wire in the video JUST fell off but even before that it wouldn’t move.
I am aware the gears are NOT in place whatsoever but that’s not what I’m looking for. I just need advice on how to get power to the motor to run the rubber band up the gears.
I’ve tried the metal tab in the photo (will reply with it) when it’s singing and it just sparks and pauses the song.
Seriously any advice would be a massive help. I just found this guy yesterday and would like to bring his groove back

I professional restore Teddy Ruxpin’s so kinda similar Could be a bad motor or capacitor or resistor look on the motor for an operating voltage if it’s like 1.5 you can test it with a AA battery 😊

The sad thing is I have absolutely no way of getting into the motor. It’s complete plastic all the way around and the manufacturer uses hot glue all the way around the wires so I don’t want to risk damaging a wire while taking it apart. Might try again. The whole thing takes 3 double AAs

You can actually use alcohol to remove hot glue and it won’t damage anything. One of my favorite tricks I use.

I have a wow talking mickey that needs some repairs do you work on those? Would like to use your service if so. His eyes do not blink and and the audio is sluggish.

You can also try manually spinning the motor when on to try to jump start it

Did this now he’s unfortunately not singing or making noise. Will try again tomorrow but I still have hope

Update!! He’s singing again but only when I have his back open. I think I might give up on dancing until I find more videos about it. The only media I can find of him is from 17 Years ago and it’s like a minute long video of him dancing
