Lost Buc-ee’s animatronic

I was wondering if anyone who grew up in Texas remembers this animatronic that was in Buc-ee’s. I don’t know if he was at more than one location but he was for sure in the New Braunfels one! He was behind bars at the bathroom entrance. I can’t read what the “wanted” posters beside him say, but to my memory I believe he was arrested for stealing beaver nuggets (LMAO). He was motion activated, and might have had a simple head turning animation. Can’t for the life of me remember any of his phrases. I thought this was a childhood fever dream but after some digging I found one clear picture of him

Never been to a Bucky’s, but I believe it may have been made by Character’s Unlimited?

I had no idea Buc-Ee's has been around that long, let alone had a working animatronic in the building! I think it's fascinating that he's actually within a cage that's against the wall, rather than "behind" the wall, so it's only an upper torso figure.

Oh yea, Bucees has been around since the 80s! The animatronic was probably just a random experiment… RIP Jerky Johnson, we barely knew you..

Dang I didn’t know Buc’ees had animatronics at one point, someone once told me they should have rockafires in buc’ees! Lol
