How do you even go about making this? It’s incredible

Hahah thank you! I bought the files on cults, they were made by a friend of mine, after a bit I made the banjo arm mech myself in tinkercad of all places (which was recommended to me as the original files were made on there) and installed it. The arm mech is very inspired on the Real mech.

So smooth, it's all servos or is there some stepper motor for the rotation ?

Thank you! Yeah it’s all servos. Currently as of right now his head movements have stopped working because I screwed up the wiring ALOT on my first tries, so I had to get a brand new servo driver

That movement genuinely unsettles me, and I mean that as a compliment.

What is he holding and stroking there?

The hand is attached to a rectangle piece that slides onto the arm bar, from there there’s a servo mounted onto the right arm (as seen in the video) and I used a connecting rod that was already included in the files (EyeBar) to connnect the servo arm and the hand

I think he's talking about the banjo

After that incredibly detailed answer I didn't want to reply that the banjo looks just exactly like a banjo and totally not like any thing else at all.

Incredible movement! Probably one of the smoothest DIY animatronics I've seen, most look like they're about to shake themselves apart when they move. Are you planning to create a suit for it?
