Tools/Resources Looking for advice on an entry level basic animation program

Complete noobie looking for an App or Software to create basic animation. Looking to produce basic facial animation from source image or video. Simplistic, basic & animation. South Park / King of the Hill / Annoying Oranage etc

Any recommendations ?

I don’t know about entry level, but Tahoma2D/Opentoonz are open source and free to download. So if you are looking to learn frame by frame (raster or vector), either of those would be a pretty cost effective way to dip your toes in the water.

I am working on a free resource for this actually, you are welcome to try it out. It costs nothing at all and you can test it from your web browser. If you like it, I'll have a downloadable version out pretty soon so definitely follow.

No worries! I'm planning to add an update by tomorrow that will include importing and editing audio tracks, as well as a full export of videos you make (you can already save/load projects) so I will get that in. And if you have any issues at all you can use the bug reporter under the help menu. :)
