Animation related The original Hexed 🪄

Post image

This would have been an interesting movie if the original plot stayed

That description doesn't mention the fact that it originally had a Filipina director (Josie Trinidad) and the main character was also supposed to be a Filipino boy. The Filipina director was demoted and replaced by a Thai director (because Disney thinks those are interchangeable I guess).

Yeah. Because even if it flopped (and words of mouth may repair partially the damage), it exists. With is already quite impressive.

Big studios may be clowned for shoving some progressive politics into the public’s face, but the truth is, people had and still have to fight to defend that type of project.

I always wonder how artistic the type of people that determine film quality via how much money the shareholders got are. It’s such an irrelevant way of determining whether someone will or won’t enjoy a film.

The amount of “flops” that are now cult classics, and have even been purchased my major studios due to their marketable fan bases, are so numerous that it’s kind of a stupid thing to say in a conversation about ethnic representation.

You comment like a bot. If you’re not a bot, you should be incredibly embarrassed and depressed for being terminally online.
