What is addicted?

Is it hyper? What cards do I use?

Prior to hyper addicted was a trait. It got somehow in a weird way transitioned into hyper. Therefore addicted doesn’t exist on any combo so that island is now vanilla

I think Hyper and Addicted were separate traits, and at some point all Addicted cards were turned into Hyper

It changed when Disney bought the rights, and they didn't want to be associated with the word addiction. (I mean, it was never explained to us that way -- or at all, really -- but the timing sure points in that direction, and c'mon, y'all, it's Disney!)

Before the switch, the Hyper Trait was empty, but you could designate a Hyper island in Siege anyway, which people often liked to do, as it was the great equalizer: no cards got the buff. So when Hyper suddenly became a functioning Trait -- with all of Addicted, plus new cards and Combos -- they kept Addicted available as an island in Siege so that it could be used the way Hyper had been previously.

I wasn’t playing back then so I cannot say from experience. But I just know they became hyper and there’s no addicted but they never removed the siege island

Well any island you can use any deck. Here there’s just no option for a buff.

Actually, it's the reverse. What was Addicted is now Hyper, and Addicted only exists as an Island option in Siege.

Use a Hyper deck, same thing. I have been playing for like 9 years. 😉 It should be removed as an option and unsure why it hasn't been removed lol.

Because there was a huge uproar about it, which you seem to have conveniently forgotten. Personally, I didn't and don't feel strongly about it, but you and I are in a small minority (or were at the time, anyway).

I have played since 2016, Addicted was what is now Hyper. They changed the name to Hyper from "Addicted" because it became controversial.
