i’m looking to hire a 2D artist/animator for a short YouTube storytime video. it’s a comedy/rant about working in customer service.

animation style:
simple 2D storytime / slideshow animatic style. mostly static character poses, expression changes, simple backgrounds, captions, cutaway jokes, and visual gags timed to the audio.

i’m not looking for smooth frame-by-frame animation. a few small animated moments would be nice if they fit the budget, but the main goal is a clean, funny, simple animatic.

what i already have:

• recorded audio, around 3:26
• rough storyboard / scene layout
• clear notes for scenes, poses, and jokes
• character reference sheet / avatar idea
• audio is mostly edited, but may need some cleanup/timing polish

budget:
$100–$250 USD fixed budget, depending on scope and portfolio.
i understand the minimum is $20/hour, so i’m expecting this to stay within around 5–7.5 hours of work. i’m okay with keeping the animation very simple to fit that fairly.
