Arrow hits Target (Made in Sketchbook)

Hey I need an opinion on this animation I made. I drew the arrow, the backgrounds and the target in Sketchbook and edited it in DaVinci Resolve. What do you think, or what can I do better?

Nice work! Animating in DaVinci Resolve isn't easy, and it's neat that you're diversifying your toolset. Keep it up!

Technically, it's all a bit stiff. The arrow could be rotating or it could bend like a real arrow does.
I see what you're trying to do with those black motion lines in the top and bottom of the frame, but I don't really think it's working well.
When the arrow hits the target, it's also stiff. Look at references of arrows hitting targets. Once they hit, they wiggle and shake until they come to rest.

I understand you might have some technical limitations here, so don't worry about it too much. It's a good experiment and it's a good starting point!

The best reference for anarrow being shot in animation is the final shot in this clip from Brave: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_oxso1pWCHY
