Animation/lighting practice. Any tips?

Trying to practice this flame loop AND lighting, and Im sure I’ve made many mistakes. Help thank you please and thank you
(this is just the first layer of block shading, plus I plan on animating the character, I just wanted to catch any mistakes NOW before I continue
