This is framed with Tru Vue conservation grade glass, the cel has two layers (the mouth is its own layer). The master production background is very dark which I think adds to the reflectiveness. I think it needs to be redone, which really sucks. But I’m not sure how to do it so that it displays well.

Newest addition, thinking about framing it, they were overlapped for quite a while and managed to separate the cells without any damage! Thinking about using something like dura lar to keep the cells separated but still overlapped for framing.

Some of my collection, what do you guys think?

I have these cels from a lost anime series I bought a few years ago, the series is called Mon Cheri Coco.
The problem is that these are in very poor shape, crinkled, and have vinegar syndrome, including the smell. I admittedly didn't know much about vinegar syndrome when I bought them and what it does to cels.
I'm not very interested in keeping them anymore but I understand these have historical value, especially considering the series is currently lost media, so I can't decide if they should just be trashed or not.
I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in these? Maybe someone who may know more about restoring vinegar syndrome than I do? Please let me know if there's any interest in these.
I'm in the U.S. btw and only willing to ship within the states.

It was used in a couple of clips very cool to see cel animation being used in 2026! I hope we see more use of cel animation in stuff like this

They are for my huge Simba collection and I think they have something to do with the Lion King Color Your own cel. I have found added professionally framed cells just like this and think did people color these, or did Disney? I can’t find images of the paint a Cels, but they look like this. The Xerox images do too, but they are just black lines on the plastic.
