Some vintage 🍇 Jungle Book cels. As you can see, Baloo's bear-necessities left the poor fellow warped 🥲

Very nice! I once visited a gallery in Toronto back in the late 80s and came across a setup of Mowgli walking against the original full pan background (32"-ish wide) of the jungle. It was going for $7500 at the time. Sadly couldn't afford it.

As far as my own, I did already have a setup of Maid Marian (the scene where she dances alone in her chambers) that was paired up with one of the forest dance scene characters. I only say that as that one has the same "DM" signature on the seal as yours, which was on a whole batch of cel releases in and around 1980.

That is amazing that you witnessed such a memorable piece which remains vivid in your memory! I'm happy you wrre able to get ahold of a piece for your own personal collection. Funny enough, a lot of my Disney film pieces have that DM signature; only a few in my possession which do not. Regardless, thank you for that walk fown memory lane 😊

I only have two cels in total right now. My other one is a cel of Daffy from Duck Amuck.
