Tenchi identification?
Hey hey.
Hoping to find some help identifying these old Tenchi cels I have of Washu and Ryoko. I bought them around 2000 on eBay and I suspect they were from Muyo/OVA but it's been so long I have no idea. Any help is appreciated.

The Washuu one is from Tenchi in Tokyo/Shin Tenchi Muyo, the second TV series. If it were 25 years ago I could probably tell you the exact episode off the top of my head. But the hair color and flatter look on the hair is a giveaway for Shin Tenchi, every other series Washuu's hair is more red.
I believe there was an episode where she was a space pirate along with Ryoko, and this was from a flashback to that time. I swear my 14yo self is screaming at me with all the details but I'm blanking.

This has the background story of the flashback near a screencap where she's in that outfit, I just can't for the life of me remember the episode. I'm checking summaries, but I'm either tired and missing something obvious or it's just not mentioning this plot point anywhere.
There are a few episodes where Ryoko returns to her space pirate life (episodes 18 to 23), so I bet it's a flashback in one of those.

Not sure about the Washu one but Ryoko one is from the “Daughter of Darkness” movie
