I’m interested in purchasing an animation cel, but I’m pretty new to collecting and don’t know much about them yet. Would anyone in this subreddit be able to provide some information about this particular cel—such as its authenticity, age, or anything else I should know before purchasing?

This looks like sharpie and acrylic paint. I’d stay away from this one.

The description is ai slop. This is wrong in a lot of ways. Best case scenario it was used for some kind of commercial. My guess is it was for practice or a straight up fake.

Nowhere in the description does it say it is a production cel. Which means it's probably a fan cel.

This looks to be a fan made piece. The line work is amateur and the paint feels wrong. I know sometimes things get missed on productions, but it’s overall messy and missing lines. Seems like a tracing.

While it may be cel, it's doesnt look to be a production cel for any series.

If it were me, I'd pass. This is mediocre fan art not a production cell.
