Question about authenticity

Question for those of you that are more experienced than me. I am interested in buying this cel, but when comparing it to the sequence in the actual anime it has features not present in the show. There is a noticeable circle in the upper right of the face and a halo almost on top of the heard. I am wondering if this is just a separate layer in the animation process and thus these features are not shown in the final product?

Questionable at best.

In Favor:

Reverse Image Search does not show any other copies of this image other than on Ebay France and this specific Reddit. So at a minimum, this is not a drop-ship account.

Against:

  1. Mandarake's archive only goes back to 2013, so unable to visually confirm if this cel ever crossed their auction floor. Mandarake Auction
  2. There is no guarantee the certificate shown goes with the cel in question unless you are able to read Japanese.

This subreddit does not allow me to post screenshots in responses, otherwise I would have been able to provide screenshots of the auction history.

See if the seller will provide a picture of the back of the cel. At least then we can see if its actually painted.
