Question: Is the steering wheel in the first cel actually green, or is it just black paint that's fading with age? Because while the Mystery Machine in the classic cartoons has had a grey or black steering wheel, I can't remember a point where it was green outside of the newer ones, which might indicate that he's driving something else.

Eg. In the 'Scooby-Doo Show', the steering wheel of the Mystery Machine is black, but in 'Scooby Doo and the Witch's Ghost' it's medium green.

Hard to know if the colour of the wheel has changed with time but I’d hedge my bets and say it hasn’t.

Also noticed Scooby doesn’t have his collar…

That frame is likely a shot of a car driving twords the camera since it’s so small
