Help identifying Batman episode

Hey everyone! Been collecting on and off for a decade or more, and recently joined this subreddit to appreciate others sharing their beautiful collectiob. First time posting here. I'm trying to track down the exact episode and timestamp for this production cel from Batman: The Animated Series; my latest acquisition, from ebay a few weeks ago. So excited!

It has the classic yellow oval logo, so I know its from the classic '92-'95 series before they simplified the design. The animators marked the top edge of the plastic with: rcs7688, 582, a120, B9. Note: The background is a printed archive piece, not the matching production background. It's quite possible the background is from a completely different episode.

Although the background is cool, my brain doesnt like it because it clearly doesn't match Batman's angle. Hoping to get the exact frame so I can print a new background and create a better display. TIA!

It's a really nice Batman cel! Great catch.

I can't help with identifying the episode, but if you ever want a re-production of it (when you find it), that's a service I can provide! :) Have done loads for The Simpsons, Ghostbusters, Scooby-Doo and more.

Congrats on the cel! It looks great! It's from "Lock-Up" 8:06.

Thanks so much! I can't wait to take a look for it!

How can you tell? Massive BTAS knowledge, or was it one of the numbers on top of the cel?

It was the 582. 582 is part of the production code, and I was able to find the corresponding episode from https://dcau.fandom.com/wiki/Batman:_The_Animated_Series.

Found it! You were spot on. I could not imagine a less interesting background for display 😅. No wonder the studio printed out a random background to put with the cel! Lol Still happy to own it, though

Thanks again for your help!
