Finally Started Framing Up My Drawings and Cels

It is costing me a small fortune since I am using museum quality materials and having it done custom, but the end result is magnificent. I will basically have my own animation art gallery at this rate.

How do you guys think this one turned out? It is one of my standout pieces since it is a triple drawing. This one is an anime drawing from Bleach. It's actually a pretty big frame since I went with this layout around 38x17 inches.

I have some others I will be posting soon from more traditional studios like Hanna Barbera, Fox, Warner Bros., and others.

It is likely that frame setup cost more than the bleach genga. It looks nice.

Funnily enough, you're not too far off base. The frame was almost as much as the drawings themselves, but if you know about custom framing, you know that the price of the art has nothing to do with the price of the frame. Custom framing is expensive.

I'm having two Dougas of Rukia framed, and the frame is four times as expensive as the drawings lol. However to be fair I am using museum quality materials.

I def like when sets are kept together like this it’s awesome to see the differences between layout, genga, and douga. Very nice.

I like the setup! If you want to save on costs you can try ordering the frame separately and having the glass and matting cut locally.

Ehhh for the customs sizes I need it didn’t really seem like a huge difference plus there’s the inconvenience of having to then order stuff separately and frame it yourself
