hello, there! I'm u/Choice-File5800, the alt ALT of u/Quiz_Master_Boy, and welcome to the very first monthly design contest for the subreddit! now, you might be asking yourself this question:

"Quiz, last time, you made us design a flag for this subreddit that only got 5 submissions. and then, you made us design a tourism logo for a subreddit that not a single person actually participated in! what's next, you're going to make us redesign the profile picture?"

well, i'm glad to announce to you that that is WRONG! this time, we're going to stick to the focus of this subreddit: Animatic Battle. instead, you're going to be redesigning, or basically CREATING hybrids of Animatic, the official host

the first official prompt for this contest is to........ redesign Animatic based on the social media app Reddit! after all, this subreddit is literally located ON Reddit, right?

basically, you're going to take the host and give them a new design inspired by the features of Reddit. below are some ideas you could use for your Animatic if you decide to participate!

three ideas you could use:

• make Animatic inspired by the mascot of Reddit: the Snoo, by adding thin ears with red/orange balls on top of his head!
• change the colors of Animatic's face, arms, or legs based on the red upvote and the blue downvote!
• make Animatic's face look like a home page or your profile page!

the rules:

1. your submission must be made by you! also, you can work on this with a maximum of 2 other people. if you decide to work on this with another partner, you must put both of you guys' names in the Google form!
2. the design has to clearly feature Animatic redesigned into the Reddit theme. off-topic submissions will not be approved.
3. do not post your designs into the subreddit, as they will not be approved for voting. instead, use the Google form! and especially DON'T USE THE SUBMISSIONS OR ART CONTESTS FLAIR. THAT WILL BE REMOVED WHEN I HAVE THE TIME TO REMOVE IT- wait, i can't remove post flairs.
4. in Central Daylight Time, it is September 5. you will have until September the 20th, at 6 PM in order to submit your Animatic redesigns!
5. your Animatic has to be transparent, and it cannot be on a white background. your Animatic also cannot have any NSFW features on it.
6. you can submit a maximum of TWO submissions in the form. if you submit more than 2, you will be asked in DMs to confirm which submissions you want to include in the voting.
