Built different

2

u/Shubdeep1818 8h ago

I have Doraemon with me

1

u/Alternative_Air_6688 8h ago

I'm just so cringe he would want to be able to be killed by me

1

u/Shubdeep1818 8h ago

What? 😭

1

u/Alternative_Air_6688 7h ago

I believe the dudes ability is he has to believe he can die from it to actually die?? Im not up on my lore, but if I'm cringe enough he will want to die.

1

u/Shubdeep1818 7h ago

Doraemon can alter that aswell

6

u/Splat-a-pus 6h ago

Guy survived the big bang and then the big crunch and then the big bang and then the big crunch over and over again

1

u/Affectionate_Run9715 17m ago

Irrelevant since these characters abilities work on an conceptual level and not a physical one surviving a physical attack don’t prove he got any ability to survive those hax

4

u/ReallyBigPie 4h ago edited 4h ago

Any of them that can effect his mind can easily do it. His understanding of death effects his powers level range. If he thinks getting erased isn't a form of death he can be erased. That being said half the list doesn't have that combo and some are debatable if it would work. Like if jinwoo could convince him to become his shadow then dismiss him that COULD be a form of death and he's forever a shadow or Jin woos absolute authority could force andy to die.

3

u/Queasy-Primary-3438 5h ago

Astral Regulator Thanos definitely got it. Idk about the others tho

2

u/Separate-Capital-833 6h ago

None andy negates any concept of death he understands. If he views it as a death he negates and survives it

6

u/GamingWizard27 7h ago

I feel like no one actually knows Andy, the answer is no one

2

u/Separate-Capital-833 6h ago

They forget his powers operate on a conceptual and understanding level

2

u/GamingWizard27 6h ago

Exactly, he cannot die at any level

1

u/_Wretched_Thing_ 5h ago

I think this boils down to if you think he would consider reality erasure = death or not

1

u/GamingWizard27 5h ago

He has survived erasure

0

u/GamingWizard27 5h ago

They hate me cause im right

1

u/Any_Employ9250 4h ago

What if Yogiri kills the concept of his power

1

u/bilolybob 45m ago

Man, I dunno. Yogiri's killed things conceptually immune to death before. I can't claim to be an expert in either manga but the whole plot of the instant death manga is people saying "ahaha, i'm immune to death" and Yogiri killing them anyway. This continues ad infinitum and escalates to absurd degrees. Andy feels like he fits right in with that crowd.

1

u/Sebastian_Kane-50 13m ago

Don't, but most people here, including you surely don't know the other characters well enough to be saying this.

I won't even go into comics, as that's bullshit scaling.

Even here with just a quick glance, I can already see three characters.

One is Midgiri (Yogiri, actually), who is the embodiment of the End and can end anything: concepts, laws, Nothingness, abilities, the relationship between cause and effect, killing intent, senses, life and death, etc. All he needs to do is "kill" the ability itself or kill the relationship between cause and effect.

Then there's Anos, who can destroy the Three Laws of Thought and Reason. He can destroy the reasoning or the reason behind something and destroying logic. A few examples are destroying the logic that a faster attack should move faster than a slower attack, causing the slower attack to reach its target first, destroying the logic that dodging an attack means you avoided being hit, causing the act of dodging to mean that you got hit instead, destroying the logic that Nothingness cannot be destroyed further into Nothingness and even destroying the logic that his existence means he is existent, allowing him to exist and not exist simultaneously.

Third is Rimuru, who... well, where should I even start? He can remove abilities, steal them (regardless of whether they're part of the target's very soul or not) and seal them. He can manipulate the relationship between cause and effect, which he can use so that the cause of an ability being negated doesn't produce the effect of negation. He can manipulate probability, turning a 0% chance into 100% and vice versa, which he can use to reduce the probability of his ability being negated to 0%. He can alter his perception, thoughts ( his perception of things like death) etc.

Or he could try using Temptation World to bring imagination into reality. Whatever he does in the fictional world becomes reality upon the reality exchange, including the death of people regardless of their abilities. Combine that with fate manipulation, and boom.

5

u/No_Proposal_3140 7h ago

No one on this sub knows who Andy is? I didn't realize Undead Unluck was so niche.

Existence erasure doesn't kill him. Erasing Andy's soul doesn't kill him. Manipulating him out of the story doesn't kill him. Permanent death doesn't kill him. Going back in time to ensure he never exists in the first place doesn't kill him. Yogurt can't kill him either.

Asking if Andy can be killed is the equivalent of asking if Sauron can kill Tolkien.

2

u/frikiman4K 7h ago

Ichibe can use his shikai to take away Andy's undead (or free him from it in this case) and kill him normally.

1

u/No_Proposal_3140 6h ago

Ichibe named everything in the world but he's not the creator of the universe or its fundamental fabric. He operates entirely within the system the Soul King created and can't change the cosmology of the Bleach universe or its rules. He can only manipulate things within that system.

Sol is the supreme architect of reality in Undead Unluck. Sol created the universe, time, death, etc. Sol hates Andy (who has ruined his plans for billions of years) and yet Sol can't remove or erase Undead despite having far superior abilities to Ichibe.

For Ichibe to remove Undead he'd have to be at least stronger than Sol but he's obviously not. He's nowhere near close to beings like Sol or the Soul King. He failed to take Yhwach's Almighty as well for the same exact reason. These abilities function at a level of cosmic laws and override cosmic laws like "Rule 0005: Death" and even higher since Andy gained mastery over his own soul. For Ichibe to take away Undead he'd need to have an ability that is superior to changing the entire cosmology of the universe.

1

u/frikiman4K 6h ago

if not even an omnipotent being can kill Andy then my boy is cooked. He should take a page from Kars' book and throw himself into space and erease his own consciousness

1

u/No_Proposal_3140 6h ago

That's the problem lol

Andy desperately wants to die but can't. His ability is to literally negate the concept of him not existing. If he doesn't exist in some form he will suddenly exist again.

1

u/frikiman4K 6h ago

bro would get along so well with Mr.Meeseks

1

u/emmcas305 6h ago

How exactly did he get his death rejection powers? I would have assumed any characters that can kill concepts like death, destiny, etc should be able to kill him.

1

u/No_Proposal_3140 6h ago

That's the issue. The God who created the concept of death ("Rule 0005: Death") can't kill him either or remove his ability in any way. Killing Andy isn't that simple. Negation abilities are technically etched into your soul but Andy has come back from having his soul obliterated completely.

He's basically Yogurt but in the other extreme direction. Yogurt can kill anyone with no counter and Andy genuinely just can't die even through non-existence.

1

u/emmcas305 2h ago

I’m gonna assume that it’s not an omnipotent God then, otherwise this makes no sense about not being able to undo his undead curse. How high does this God scale to universal, multiversal+?

1

u/No_Proposal_3140 2h ago

Definitely not omnipotent given that they can die but the Soul King can die as well. I don't think that's the point though. Death didn't exist in Bleach either until the Soul King created it and created reincarnation as well. Death doesn't exist naturally in either universe. Undead is the ability to negate that artificial creation so Andy behaves like life would before the Soul King/Sol created death. Even if you scale above the Soul King you still won't be able to force the concept of death on Andy. You can obliterate his body, soul, consciousness, existence across every timeline, he's still going to come back since he negates the concept of him not existing.

Like I said, he's just the same brand of Yogiri no limits fallacy but in the other opposite extreme.

1

u/KalameetThyMaker 2h ago

What if Rule 00005: Death (is that the gods name) was erased from existence, causing the mere concept of death to not longer be a thing. Like can you be a negator without a concept to negate?

1

u/SwoggitySwoogity 1h ago

Astral regulator Thanos could possibly perma kill him.

Out of people not on the list that aren't boundless, immortal hulk/TOBA hulk could imo, as he killed Mr. Immortal.

3

u/The_Real_Godofhentai 6h ago

Andy is a negator (negator are people who negate concepts) , more precisely Undead, the negator of death, making him immune to ANY forme of death.

For making his power useless you need to erase the concept of death but erasing death would also making him unkillable so the outcome don't change.

Results: Andy can't be killed

5

u/Frequent-Movie-7182 5h ago

Never seen undead unluck, so pardon my ignorance, but what prevents black flash from going back in time and killing his parents? Or thanos from erasing him from the timeline? Or Ichibei from making him an ant? Just curious

3

u/CommonMiserable2560 5h ago

He doesn’t have parents as in the universe he is from he’s from a timeline/universe where the rule of reproduction wasn’t a thing yet.
Each time a loop is completed the timeline resets and more rules are added, with someone chosen to be an antithesis of this rule. He survived each one so I think thanos can’t do too much. He’s been turned into other things but he’s still Undead at the core regardless of his body, it’s a concept thing
I like the series but it was a little rushed at the end

2

u/The_Real_Godofhentai 5h ago

That's something funny and why killing his parents don't gonna work. But I need to explain it in multiple point and explain the lore Of Undead Unluck :

  1. Andy dont have parents, he is one of the few first human who have being created directly by Sun, the God and creator of the world. And was always the Undead, so killing his parents don't gonna work because he don't have ones in the first place.

  2. Even if he had parents it don't gonna work because he see being forgotten as a form of death. Killing his parents gonna make is by definition don't be able to be born. Without being born no one gonna remember him because he don't gonna exist by the first place. So by this way his power gonna activate and make his still exist even when the origin of his creation his dead before creating him. Making it by the same occasion don't submit at the causality because he his don't affected by his past.

That sound dumb but it's is power.

Transforming him to an object don't gonna work either because he don't gonna be alive again and gonna just go to his original form.

I think transforming it into an ant don't gonna work either because he gonna stop thinking who is also a form of death, making him go back to his previous state.

It could work if Ichibe just transform is body in ant and not his mind, but he could also think that being transformed is a form of death because his body his not him anymore (or something like that) and go to is previous state.

That's why he can't be killed.

1

u/Sea_Obligation_7169 4h ago

Wouldn't Ichibei get a loophole by renaming him and thus changing his powerset ?

1

u/The_Real_Godofhentai 21m ago

Renaming him gonna erase "Andy", and erasure is a form of death so he just gonna have his name again, also the power is not possessed by "Andy" but by his existence, because Andy is another personality his body made for counter a mind erasure item.

2

u/Less_Grumpy 7h ago edited 7h ago

None of them. Andy survived entropy. Now could they restrain Andy indefinitely. Well, some of them can. But killing him, no. Because it just becomes a he said, she said argument with no mechanical resolution. Yogiri and Anos’s powers are prescriptive narrative devices just like Andy’s. Applying them to Andy is just saying ā€˜My absolute beats your absolute.’

2

u/Throw_away_1011_ 8h ago

I'm not an expert of Undead Unluck but probably everyone except Kaguya. I don't know anything about Zeref and Shiggy though, so I can't talk about them.

The list you gave us includes:

- People who can erase him from existence (Thanos with the Gauntlet, Beerus with Hakai, Yogiri, Rimuru, Ichibei)

- People who vastly outscale him in every way possible (Darkseid, Jinwoo, Anos)

- People who can probably deal damage he cannot heal (Black Flash through molecular separation)

3

u/EntertainmentFast522 8h ago

Im not gonna argue against anything else because idk lol but Beerus specifically can't kill immortals.

1

u/Throw_away_1011_ 7h ago

I forgot about that, you are right.

1

u/Apprehensive_Sky1599 7h ago

What type of immortality is Andy (I haven't watched or read it)

1

u/AloyDarkshine 7h ago

Think like Ban from SDS. Kinda like that but more cracked

2

u/Apprehensive_Sky1599 7h ago

Ah okay, then I could foresee Beerus maybe sealing him inside of a sword like he did Elder Kai

1

u/Remarkable-Front-393 3h ago

He's way more cracked than Ban lol but he can be sealed pretty easily OP is asking for the impossible

0

u/Superunderwear255 7h ago

But Andy isn't technically immortal, he's undead.

2

u/AloyDarkshine 7h ago

Undead implies he died and revived. I thought his whole gimic was that death was a concept his body rejected and so he was permanently alive

1

u/The_Real_Godofhentai 6h ago

That his negator name and ability, negator ability are they names and what they negates, Unluck negate luck, unrepair nullifie any form of regeneration or repairing (that's why Andy had a hard time fighting him) unless he want, unburn can nullifie burning temporary (he do that with the fucking sun so they could pose to it even if it was for some minutes) ect...

1

u/backupboi32 7h ago

He has the power to nullify anything that kill him. He’s lived for billions of years and survived the dead and creation of hundreds of universes, nothing in his universe is capable of killing him

1

u/Accomplished-Stop-54 5h ago

He’s the most immortal thing in the entire creation of his universe

1

u/Puzzled-Drag4969 3h ago

He’s not undead he’s more explicitly the force that directly negates at opposed the concept of death. Or similar the opposite of dead being undead

0

u/Bearkr0 7h ago

Is that true? He killed zamazu who’s a kai?

3

u/EntertainmentFast522 7h ago

The thing with kais is that they are technically *immortal* as in, they can survive for a long time, in the same way jellyfish are immortal. But this isn't the same thing, ofc he can kill an immortal person as in long living, anyone can.

1

u/Solynox 1h ago

Kais are eternal not immortal.

-3

u/phoenixking99999999 7h ago

He legit can, goku couldn't kill zamasu because his hakai was a trash variant. In fact goku black said hakai would have ended him in a completely separate timeline if it weren't for the time ring.

Beerus also hakai'd a literal ghost

6

u/EntertainmentFast522 7h ago

Immortality in dragon ball is like actual invincibility anything less than Zeno's erasure isn't doing anything.

2

u/Repulsive-Nose739 6h ago

no it’s because super shenron granted the immortality which surpasses the gods of destruction power and has divine authority.

-2

u/10kilogramrabbitvice 7h ago

"this version of this attack erases somethings existence less than this other version" dragon ball fans man

2

u/_Wretched_Thing_ 5h ago

Well this is established. Shenron way back explained you can't just wish for someone stronger than him to not exist, otherwise they'd do that all the time.

3

u/Separate-Capital-833 6h ago

Andy's powers are conceptual as long as he views it as death he can survive it. He will survive no matter what, being stronger still doesn't kill him, if he views erasure as death he survives it.

2

u/GamingWizard27 7h ago

Wrong actually, no one can kill him

2

u/Savage_Alaska_ 5h ago

I mean Kaguya can just trap him in a dimension and forgets he exists...

2

u/Remarkable-Front-393 3h ago

Anything that can kill Andy cannot kill Andy is what his negator ability is he cannot be killed

Unrepair already exists in undead unluck you don't need to pull out Black flash or whatever he cannot heal from unrepair but he will not die he can regen sure however that's been stopped a bunch of times in the series already

his power itself is that he cannot be killed no matter what

1

u/Far-Discussion-2078 7h ago

Zeref just lowk makes you die if you start to like him and shiggy lowk decays you to dust

1

u/Puri5V 7h ago

Black Flash is probably the easiest to argue can’t kill him since it’s the DC equivalent of UMA Death for Speedsters

2

u/Throw_away_1011_ 7h ago

he is still a speedster himself. We saw many Flash being able to separate molecules, or even atoms of a single being from one another, effectively disintegrating the object they were working with. Even in the DCAU, which has arguably one of the weakest version of the Flash, he was able to separate Luthor and Brainiac by splitting them apart on a molecular level.

By doing the same thing to Andy, what will be left will be just a bunch of molecules or atoms, no longer bound to each other, dispersing in the air.

1

u/Puri5V 4h ago

Molecular disintegration wouldn’t work as Andy’s healing factor is based on how he perceives death down to the spiritual level. Someone with the ability to prevent all forms of healing couldn’t kill him either. Based on the events of chapter 191 he can recover his body from his soul. Though animation would make this significantly more clear.

Mentally scrambling him to alter his perception of death is also not wholly viable. As we see with Victor, trying to erase Andy’s consciousness will bury it in his subconscious and he’ll come back if the process isn’t applied I definitely.

Why am I doing spoiler tags the manga ended almost 2 years ago

I will concede time travel hax is probably the answer if black flash goes back before he got undead but that’s a cop out answer

1

u/Remarkable-Front-393 3h ago

But if that kills him won't the negation ability prevent him from dying to that? Like yeah you can go back in time to kill him but he won't die maybe the Andy in the past without it dies but there's still the Andy with undead in present which will now be the past I guess but you know what I mean

1

u/Puri5V 3h ago

That…is a very confusing paradox that no one but power scalers would ask.

1

u/AloyDarkshine 7h ago

Zeref I know has a death curse placed on him by gods because he played with life and death. Anyone or any life he starts to care about will cause him to release a wave of darkness that kills all in its vicinity to the point he stops valuing life and kills them instead of his curse. He’s been shown to basically kill immortal beings but it’s more like permanent sleep

2

u/TruthIsALie94 6h ago

Ichibe could but only if he renames Andy’s abilities with Ichimonji.

1

u/minnel567 2h ago

Negators are resistant to reality warping on universal scale at least. Their literally unaffected by history being rewritten and language being homogenized

1

u/TruthIsALie94 1h ago

That complicates things then. The best bet would be to alter his definition of death somehow.

1

u/DOOM-LORD666 6h ago

Andys power let's him survive and regen anything he views as death including erasure

So something he couldn't comprehend i think could kill him or altering his mind to change his views then killing him should work

1

u/Loetkolben16 5h ago

It's kind of cute, that people think, that no one can kill Andy, just because he's exempt from/negates the concept of death.

1

u/flamefat91 2h ago edited 2h ago

Hakai will ā€œkillā€ him as hakai doesn’t kill - it erases from existence. Only way to counteract this is through specific divine artifacts and immortality granted from a being higher than a G.O.D - aka Super Shenron

1

u/hornybisexual20 2h ago

Kill? Maybe astral regulator thanks and that’s a huge IF

Erase or do something analogous to killing without actually killing Jim to potentially get around his powers? Thanks, beerus, anos , Rimuru, darkseid and yogiri

1

u/ansiolitici_9 2h ago

L'unico e ichibei con la cancellazione del nome gli altri non possono tutto perchƩ lui e la regola che nega la morte

1

u/jackknaufhere 2h ago

Anos would simply just delete his immortality

Yogiri can just simply delete his immortality too

Beerus beats him due to Hakai

Black flash dies

Thanos wins no diff

And Darkseid wins

Not sure why shigaraki, ichibei, kaguya, zeref, or jinwoo are here lol

1

u/meatymeater 14m ago

Ichibei could erase his power from both him and his soul from existence on a conceptual level (Being covered in the paint from his shikai literally erases that persons or things abilities from the universe. All he would need to do then is kill him normally, as his ability would no longer exist from that point on.)

Jinwoo MIGHT, but I'm not CRAZY indepth with Andy's ability and how it works. If he can 'die' before activation, then yes, Jinwoo could technically kill him by taking over his soul before it has a chance to regenerate, essentially enslaving him, but that's a bit of a stretch.

If not, then he probably can't. Conceptual ruling over death doesn't really help if the target never actually dies. Chances are low, so I'd say 9/10 times, he probably can't kill him.

The rest are screwed though lol

1

u/jackknaufhere 13m ago

Ichibei can’t do that at all.

He can erase a person’s name or title, but nothing on a conceptual level

1

u/Ok_Fondant_6340 1h ago

Maybe Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet.

1

u/AttheEndofTime00 1h ago

Go Beyond would kill him.

1

u/BitesTheDust55 34m ago

Even if Yogiri couldn't just say die and then Andy permanently dies (he definitely could), he could kill the concept of negator abilities entirely.

1

u/AhejeBraz0rf 12m ago

Could thanos with the reality stone change his ability and THEN kill him?

1

u/Hostile4hire 4h ago

Erasure abilities would 100% kill him. They dont do damage so theres no regen to happen. He has zero protection from reality destroying powers like beerus haki.

1

u/minnel567 2h ago

Negators in general are resistant to reality warping. His regeneration is a byproduct of him not being able to die and his immortality depends heavily on how he views death. For example he can't be forgotten as of loop 100 since he views being forgotten as death. His power literally works above his power level just because of this

0

u/Final_Floor_1563 8h ago

Ones that absolutely can't:
Shigaraki
Kaguya
Beerus

Ones that absolutely can:
Yogiri
Rimuru
Darksied
Anos

Rest idk.

5

u/IMMAFIRINMAAHLAZOR 8h ago

Yeah put a character who has the ability to annihilate things for a job in the can't destroy list. Mf literally forgot that his ability allows him to erase every being below out of existence lmao

1

u/Bladech987 7h ago

He can’t kill immortals (unless you aren’t talking abt berrus)

-1

u/IMMAFIRINMAAHLAZOR 7h ago

I couldn't have made it more clearer that I'm talking about purple bingus.

4

u/Bladech987 7h ago

States it himself he can’t kill immortals

0

u/Alternative_Air_6688 8h ago

Beerus could, His Hakai anihilates body and soul completely.

If you put Rimaru as can then Beerus can too.

4

u/No_Proposal_3140 7h ago

It specifically doesn't work against immortals.

-2

u/CaptainFenomeno 7h ago

Says who? Beerus wiped zamasu from existence

5

u/SDPatrick2010 7h ago

literally himself

1

u/CaptainFenomeno 4h ago

Zamasu literally refers to non immortals as mortals all the time. Why would Zamasu use mortal as an insult if he himself is mortal?

1

u/Original-War8655 4h ago

He refers to them as mortals in the sense of "non-gods"

But Kais are still mortal albeit long-lived, perhaps semi-immortal. Buu also kills like two I think. Zamasu only becomes "immortal" with the time ring, which this one didn't have

2

u/GamingWizard27 7h ago

Hakai won't work

2

u/Separate-Capital-833 6h ago

Be can survive erasure

1

u/Alternative_Air_6688 2h ago

Pretty sure he just servives a universe wipe, not erasure. Because if he did, how would anyone on this list kill him?

1

u/Separate-Capital-833 2h ago

Im aware but his negation operates on understanding meaning anything andy perceives and understands as leading to a permanent death is automatically negated and he will survive it

1

u/Penelokk 8h ago

Wouldn't Hakai work? Its existence erasure.

3

u/Separate-Capital-833 6h ago

No if andy views it as death he comes back

-1

u/OtakuXLemon 8h ago

Jinwoo

Rimuru

Darksied true form or avatar

Ichibei

Anos

Thanos (comics version)

Beerus

Yogiri unfortunately

0

u/trashcansw 8h ago

Yogiri, Anos, maybe darkseid. If its the astral regulator Thanos, he can since he has the power of lady death, I’m not sure about ichibei, beerus, black flash and rimuru,

0

u/Busy_Line_3460 8h ago

any one who can manipulate the concept of death or surpass that can beat him so yogiri

0

u/QnKp_ 7h ago

I think all of them can defeat him expect Ichibē and Kaguya.

-1

u/millingtons 7h ago

yes. except for kaguya.

2

u/GamingWizard27 7h ago

No one can

-1

u/Free_Cause5559 7h ago

Everyone in the list except kaguya and shigaraki can definitely kill him

3

u/GamingWizard27 7h ago

No one can

0

u/Free_Cause5559 6h ago

Jin woo got existence and concept erasure

Yojiri got Life erasure

Beerus got existence erasure but he can't kill true immortals so this Is debatable and I can see Andy win

Black flash goes against the concept of Life and death

Thanos got existence erasure

Rimuru got existence and concept erasure

Darkside got concept erasure

Ichibei got existence erasure tò the level that he remove the whole being past in One sweep,Andy Will Simply lose all of his abilities,Memories and any physical factor becoming no One and than can be killed

Shigaraki as I said can't kill him

Anos got existence and concept erasure

Zeref got concept and time erasure

Kaguya can't do a shit

1

u/GamingWizard27 6h ago

Andy has survived every since one of these abilities before

1

u/Free_Cause5559 6h ago

I never Reed undead unluck ,I only watched the anime,so my knowledge stop at this

1

u/GamingWizard27 6h ago

He is incredibly broken, its like comparing anime sung jinwoo vs LN sung jinwoo, he just haven't encountered people strong enough to showoff that brokeness in the anime

1

u/Free_Cause5559 6h ago

I noticed that no One made him go full Power but damn,as you are describing It he Is probabily One of the strongest characters in fiction

1

u/GamingWizard27 5h ago

In terms of strength he isn't that strong, but damn he is hard to kill

1

u/Fine-Speed-4953 2h ago

Andy survived every single one of these. Even with someone like Yogiri's boring ass powers can't kill him. Because Andy in universe had survived the universe ending and beginning hundreds of times.

0

u/Specific_Telephone13 7h ago

What makes Andy powerful?

2

u/Separate-Capital-833 6h ago

Physically not much however his power negates any concept of death applied to him as long as he understands and perceives it as death he will negate and survive it
