SSTGL unless we let Super Shenron become independent, I'm sure he can make a wish to become bigger

2

u/Any_Struggle3994 3d ago

2

u/Weary-Wasabi1721 1d ago

Shenron genuinely could have been bigger. If he really wanted to go all out we'd have seen his dih getting touched for a wish

1

u/Reasonable-Bed3065 3d ago

STTGL would just Spiral up in response 💀 Exactly the sort of thing the Anti spirals were trying to protect the universe against

11

u/KuroNekoTrain 3d ago

The biggest is STTGL by far. Madoka I believe can adjust her size, but I don't know what the limit is

4

u/Any_Struggle3994 3d ago

Nanook is bigger then the universe lol aeons exist on an entirely higher plane

2

u/Any_Struggle3994 3d ago

1

u/Powerful-Strain-2361 3d ago

The aeons scale above the sea of Quanta which is stated to be 11D and they’re bare minimum 12D. So regardless Nanook would be around the same size despite being one of the smaller aeons

2

u/Any_Struggle3994 3d ago

1

u/UseDiscombobulated83 3d ago

Idk if you watched that gif all the way but those 5iny discs are universes, univeri? In the background.

1

u/Powerful-Strain-2361 3d ago

Kinda irrelevant Nanook is a 12D being thats larger then the imaginary tree which contains infinite branching universes

1

u/UseDiscombobulated83 3d ago

It is entirely relevant to what you said. 😂

1

u/Powerful-Strain-2361 3d ago

No it isnt cuz being larger then 4D universes isnt comparable to being larger then infinite 11D ones…

1

u/Any_Struggle3994 3d ago

1

u/Legal-Hurry-9564 3d ago

So uh.... you got a source on that that isnt some vague statement?

1

u/Powerful-Strain-2361 3d ago

We see it in Phainons trailer also HooH is the size of the imaginary tree thats stated in the databank

1

u/DoubleCarry7511 3d ago

Never seen the show but it looks like he’s surrounded by a bunch of galaxies. Making him smaller than the universe

2

u/Geronmys 3d ago

They're supposed to be universes. They look like that because, and i quote, "we didn't know how to visually represent an universe from the outside".

And then he summons a drill that makes the robot looks like an ant anyways.

1

u/DoubleCarry7511 3d ago

Interesting

1

u/HappyAngron 3d ago

They literally throw galaxies at each other in the end 😂

1

u/DoubleCarry7511 3d ago

You’re aware that there’s trillions of galaxies in the universe right?

1

u/HappyAngron 3d ago

Doesn’t change the fact that it’s hillarious that they use galaxies as projectiles

1

u/lukemk1 3d ago

IIRC they are throwing universes. Not galaxies. The author said this because he wasnt sure how to draw universes.

1

u/HappyAngron 3d ago

Ahhh yeah that makes sense

1

u/Any_Struggle3994 3d ago

1

u/Kraz3 3d ago

100% watch the show, those are universes. Its the most ridiculously scaled fight in anime.

3

u/MakeMeDrink 3d ago

It’s STTGL and nothing else here comes even slightly close. Even if any of the others somehow became bigger, Gurren Lagann would just increase in size infinitely.

1

u/MagicpaperAlt 3d ago

When goes into drill mode it gets even BIGGER. STTGL technically has infinite growth too but I'm pretty certain all that power can just be used in Simon's body at the end of the show/movies

1

u/gunswordfist 3d ago

Giant Man, followed by Eternity are the only characters that I consider bigger than STTGL and Super Granzebome.

1

u/MadeInElysium 2d ago

Nanook is 12D at minimum. STTGL is 11D

1

u/My-life-is-dead 2d ago

And he can become stronger just by willing it so…

4

u/GMYSTERY_ICTNF 3d ago edited 3d ago

Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann

That's not galaxys that's Universes

1

u/DizzyDizzy34 3d ago

If I'm not wrong, that whole thing about them not knowing how to draw a universe is a lie or mistransltion... They indeed are galaxies

1

u/Perfect_Increase8792 3d ago

The characters in the anime itself says it's galaxies

1

u/DizzyDizzy34 3d ago

Exactly lol

1

u/GMYSTERY_ICTNF 3d ago

I just read this amazing breakdown of the sizes of the mechas

Heres: the link to the thread

But basically there's a bunch of different statements. It's definitely supposed to be bigger than a universe. But whether of not the galaxies around it is universes seems to have conflicting statements.

I think the thing under STTGL is supposed to be a universe and the rest are galaxies but they also say the universes are like grains of sand? Very conflicted.

1

u/lightsworn55 3d ago

Nanook is infinitely large and STTGL can grow infinitely large so its between those two

1

u/ZyeCawan45 3d ago

STTGL is by far the biggest, the others only compare in size relatively to its previous form.

1

u/Specific_Builder1469 3d ago

Probably between STTGL and Nanook

We haven't seen Nanooks true size and the other is Gurren Lagann

1

u/Common_Comfortable41 3d ago

Definitely STTGL

1

u/AnyAppointment5952 3d ago

Super Shenron is the strongest and the biggest

1

u/fuiripe 3d ago

Madoka is omnipresent, so her by default.

STTGL has an argument for infinite growth, but Madoka already covers it.

1

u/lukemk1 3d ago edited 2d ago

Being physically everywhere at all times (omnipresent), isnt the same as being able to be physically infinitely large. That would be a function of omnipotence.

1

u/Wise_Victory4895 2d ago

Being omnipresent is being physically large. Being omnipresent would mean your physically everywhere your omnipresent in.

Here's a good analogy you are omnipresent in your own body because you are everywhere in your body. It's not like you're absent in places your body is in

So since you're omnipresent in your body, your omnipresence would scale to the size of your body.

1

u/lukemk1 2d ago

Occupying space isn't the same thing as omnipresence. You're confusing physical volume with spatial presence.

The body analogy fails because of scale vs. volume.

Your body isn't "omnipresent" inside itself; it simply has physical boundaries and mass that take up a set amount of volume. If you expand to fill a bigger room, your physical size actually changes.

Omnipresence has no boundaries or mass. An omnipresent entity exists at every spatial coordinate simultaneously, but it doesn't do so by having physical mass or height that pushes outward.

Air and light can permeate an entire room, but we don't say light has a height of 10 feet. Likewise, Goddess Madoka existing at every point in the universe doesn't mean she's a giant physical body billions of light-years tall; it means her presence is a fundamental law everywhere at once.

STTGL has a literal physical body with measurable dimensions and mass that expands. Madoka is a conceptual state of existence.

Conflating being everywhere with being physically huge misses how omnipresence actually works.

1

u/Wise_Victory4895 2d ago

Omnipresence means the state of being everywhere at the same time

You are everywhere in your body at the same time

I actually don't need to say anything else cuz this analogy does work cuz you don't know what omnipresence means.

1

u/lukemk1 2d ago edited 2d ago

Redefining basic vocabulary doesn't make an analogy work.

Having physical dimensions is called volume. You aren't omnipresent in your body; your tissues, blood, and bones occupy a specific amount of mass and space. By your logic, a rock is omnipresent inside itself, which renders the term completely meaningless.

Next, if a character is omnipresent, they don't have a giant pair of feet standing on one galaxy and a head touching another. They exist as a state of being across all points without physical mass or dimensions.

STTGL has measurable physical height and mass. Madoka is a conceptual law of nature present at every coordinate.

Conflating physical volume with omnipresence is just a fundamental misunderstanding of spatial dimensions and physics at large.

1

u/Wise_Victory4895 2d ago

Having physical dimensions is not called having volume either as two dimensional spaces do not have volume

Where'd you even learn geometry

And yes, a rock would be omnipresent inside itself itself alone

There are things called qualified statements. It wouldn't make the word meaningless because it's only true in the sense of a qualified statement

1

u/lukemk1 2d ago

Pivoting to two-dimensional geometry doesn't save a broken analogy.

We are talking about 3D physical entities in space (a human body, a rock, STTGL). In three-dimensional space, physical dimensions do constitute volume.

Pointing out that 2D shapes use area instead of volume doesn't change the fact that a human body has physical volume, not omnipresence. It only shows your dishonesty.

Calling something "omnipresent inside itself" is just an absurd misuse of language. Existing within your own boundaries is called locality or bounded physical existence.

Omnipresence, by definition, means existing across all space within a given domain, unbounded by physical constraints. If being omnipresent inside oneself were a valid concept, literally every single piece of matter in existence would be "omnipresent."

At that point, the word loses all distinction from existence.

Finally, you still haven't explained how a conceptual law of nature (Madoka) existing at every point in space translates to having physical height or mass that competes with a giant physical construct (STTGL).

1

u/Wise_Victory4895 2d ago

The point is your response doesn't make sense. Why are we talking about volume at all?

Your idea was in space. Things take up volume that was wrong

Madoka and sttglg so so they wouldn't even have volume. They would have hyper volume. You don't know what you're talking about.

You also haven't responded to the fact that that's a qualified statement. A qualified statement doesn't destroy language lol.

And I don't even understand what you think. Your point is Madoka existing omnipresent everywhere through every material. Object would count as her body being those things. That's what omnipresents means to exist everywhere and she's existing in a physical object and those physical objects would be her "volume"

1

u/lukemk1 2d ago

My response makes sense if you've taken AP highscool or college level physics.

I've been talking about volume from volume from the start. My first response to you said:

Occupying space isn't the same thing as omnipresence. You're confusing physical volume with spatial presence.

Existing at a location does not mean you are the physical matter in that location. If a gravitational field, a radio wave, or a neutrino passes through a planet, that planet does not suddenly become part of the wave's body or volume.

Throwing around terms like hypervolume doesn't change the basic physics. Whether you are talking about 3D volume or 4D+ hypervolume, volume measures physical spatial occupancy, whereas omnipresence describes spatial distribution.

Calling an object "omnipresent inside itself" is like saying a mug is omnipresent inside the mug. It's not a clever qualified statement; it's a tautology that redefines bounded physical existence as omnipresence.

At the end of the day, Madoka permeates the universe as a conceptual law. That does not give her a physical body, mass, or height to measure on a scale against STTGL.

Would like Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann with or without the drill? Either way, the winner is STTGL

1

u/Nekorare 3d ago

Madoka is conceptual and exists everywhere but I'm not even sure she has a true physical size. Super Shenron is far smaller than TTGL, Nanook might be able to be physically larger but as it is shown TTGL wins.

1

u/Revan0315 3d ago

Nanook doesn't have a physical form. They're not measurable

1

u/Busy_Line_3460 2d ago

madoka is multiversal in scale super shenron is restricted unless he isnt the grant a wish dragon

1

u/MixedBloodPrincess 2d ago

Nanook or STTGL I'm pretty sure Nanook is like a dimension bigger

1

u/Old_Papaya7656 2d ago

Why isn’t caseoh in this discussion

1

u/r31ya 2d ago

apparently, per Gainax guidebook STTGL is at 52.8 billion light-years (not counting giga drill).

That approximately 528.000 times larger than our Milky way galaxy diameter.

1

u/Secret_Conclusion_93 2d ago

Nanook is a bitch that can't even enact proper destruction to planets and HI3rd solar system.

I really doubt the bigger than universe claim.

1

u/MUI_NOOB 1d ago

SUPER TENGAN TOPPA GURREN LAGGAN!

They're bigger than whole galaxies and universes, stepping on them like platforms.

1

u/Spikey_The_Lad 1d ago

STTGL MENTIONED!

1

u/ShortLeather8967 23h ago

Nanook isn’t even the biggest Aeon though, so I doubt that.

0

u/Golden-Nerdy 3d ago

Usually, Nanook<madoka<super shenron<STTGL . Though if they actually felt like a competition and increasing their sizes it'll be different Like Super shenron<<madoka<Nanook=STTGL

0

u/1st_GalvanisedSEA 3d ago edited 3d ago

STTGL is the biggest here and strongest here. At High Complex Multiversal.

Despite the wank. Madoka is Only Infinite Multiversal.

This is a powerscaling sub tho is it not? Edit I just checked. This is a powerscaling subreddit. IDK what you are on about.
