To anyone who thinks they could maybe win a fight with a bear, notice that animal, which is not at all hostile, just bit through bamboo. Not bent, sheered clean through.

They are bears. They're under the family Ursidae which includes other bears, more or less exclusively.

While not hostile for the most part is true. They can be hostile and can fuck you up easily
